Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Games May Be Getting Delisted Soon

Those are fun games, especially the 1st one. However, the graphic are not up to today's standard, even for the remade versions. If you've Xbox GamePass, it's worth to download them now. You can finish both by 2 weeks. They are also on XBox big sales in July. (I'm not sure the PS4 side has similar offer or not).

Wasn't a very good game to begin with... But I do have a poster of the first one with Stan Lee's autograph on it from when I met him at E3 2006. One good thing I can take away from that game.

Not always. My understanding is if I ever delete my TMNT, Simpson’s Arcade, or Scott Pilgrim games from my 360 HDD they’re gone. And even if I’m wrong I don’t wanna find out.

Every publisher delists games from time to time. In these kinds of cases it's usually because they only had rights to sell them for a certain amount of time.

Most of the time, they're still available to download if you already purchased it.

Along with Forza 2 in the holiday bundle for 2007 this was my first game on my 360, will always be a special game to me and more people should get it when they can if they haven't played it yet. Wish they made a current gen sequel, with current MCU characters and voices and the whole nine yards.

Recently bought both physical no doubt cost has gone up but we'll worth it. Believe it or not these games were ported to next Gen consoles digital only but because it was Activision you know it was just a straight up port

What are you rambling about? Crash Bandicoot was created by and owned by Universal Interactive Studios. Naughty Dog was a backlot studio for them at the time. Sony never produced nor owned any part of Crash Bandicoot. Further Sony didn’t acquire Naughty Dog until 2001, five years after the initial release of Crash Bandicoot and two years after their last Crash Bandicoot title.

Universal Interactive Studios merged with Vivendi in 2000 and the IP effectively went to Vivendi
Vivendi then merged with Activision Blizzard in 2008 transferring rights to the IP to Activision

Sony didn’t even agree to publish Crash Bandicoot until after it was in its Alpha stage.

Spyro went through the same transitions. Owned and created by Universal Interactive Studios as Insomniac also wasn’t part of Sony. Ever.

Sony played zero role in the creation or publishing of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. They will also be playing zero role in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

Nice way to misconstrue what a “port” is. The two mentioned are not one to one the originals by any means. New music, new coding, new textures, new telemetry, new algorithms.

That's not how it works. You still have the license to play the game. The publisher just loses the license to continue selling the game.

these are great games. but there is no reason to keep them still offered as i got platinum in the second one *g*
today‘s business practices are a crying shame, though. i stopped buying games like fifa and the likes when i learned that you really need to be quick if you want platinum in these games as they are shutting down servers in no time, especially with franchises that get an update each year.

Oh what a shocker. Licensed Activision games being delisted in a matter of months? Gee, never would have guessed that would happen. Not after Transformers everything, Deadpool (twice), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Legend of Korra, Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse, Ice Age: Continental Drift, Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Ghostbusters: The Video Game.

Okay, so I think only a couple of these were delisted in a matter of less than a year, but still. There is a distinct pattern, and it is annoying as all hell. Sure, a lot of these games aren't great to me, but some people like them. I don't understand why Activision does this. It's infuriating.
