Microsoft's 'Xbox Community Content' platform could bring more mods to Xbox One games

Microsoft has been rumored to be looking more deeply into mod support for Xbox One for quite a while, thanks to job listings we wrote about in the past. Xbox Community Content and M&KB support announcements at Gamescom?

TheCommentator2141d ago

Gears Tactics coming to consoles is a distinct possibility with KB&M support too! I was surprised that it wasn't, TBH, considering that X-Com made its' way over and played well.

On topic, the Mod Support integration takes so much weight off of the developers' shoulders that I could see this tool being a real game changer... no pun intended!

I'm a firm believer that Gears Tactics is coming to Xbox. There's no way that MS would leave that to only PC. Hopefully we can get that game with mod support.

And while we're at it, lets get those mods from Xcom 2 over to Xbox also.

This should have been briefed at E3 or touched upon. Could be ground breaking

Mods are fully welcome on single player games, multiplayer games.... they have to monitored....

It has a mediocre player review on Steam, sitting at "Mixed" with 67% out of 173 players leaving positive reviews...not bad but definitely not "The Best Metroidvania You Never Played".
