I have been holding off on getting this on PSVR, but now it might be the right time!

Goldby2144d ago

Cuz if the update or statement that xbox isn't getting vr?

Jinger2144d ago (Edited 2144d ago )

Huh? No, I just waited because I was worried about performance since I heard mixed things. But now that it's getting even more updates and such I think it's the right time. I was also waiting for the right price since this will be like the 3rd time I've bought Skyrim lol

Profchaos2144d ago

With the recent sales the price has never been cheaper I just upgraded my gen 1 to a green 2 the trade in price was quite good at cex so the difference was like $50

Jinger2144d ago

I'll have to look into that. I only have a gamestop near me, but their trade in deals are garbage.

yeahright22143d ago

Ugh, sorry man, I think you just missed the right time. Sony had a week long sale where they chopped $100 off and dell gave an extra $10 or $20 off if you bought from them. It was a sweet deal.
But I'm sure another will roll around. Black friday will be here before you know it.

Jinger2143d ago

Oh I already have PSVR. I meant I was waiting to buy Skyrim VR. I have had PSVR since it launched.

yeahright22143d ago

oh my bad, read that wrong

About time. The res quality is really low if you have not tried it yet. Hopefully this patch will offer a huge improvement

GUTZnPAPERCUTZ2143d ago

That is going to be an ongoing issue. The screen is only 1080x960 and that is only 1 screen for both eyes @ 60hz and it sucks. Maybe MS will eventually support VR for X like they discussed using third party licensed headsets? This one is the same price and much better at 1440x1440 dual screens and a 90hz refresh rate. https://www.microsoft.com/e...

senis_kenis2143d ago

No it's 960x1080 per eye, psvr has 1920x1080 rgb screen and it's 120hz panel.

BLUEKNIFE2144d ago

Very nice patch, now Skyrim looks AMAZING!!!

uth112144d ago

the flat version didm't click with me, but playing a game like this in VR seems amazing. decisions decisions

I'm Replaying Skyrim (again), and So Should You

Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.

anast33d ago

I tried, but it's a poorly made game that insults its customers.

lucian22933d ago

nah, only mods make it decent, and even then it's bad, and this is after i modded for at least 3 years

Nittdarko33d ago

Funnily enough, I'm about to play it for the first time in VR with 1000 mods to make the game playable, as is the Bethesda way

I guess the only question here is… why does this exist?
