While many other monsters have certainly made the rounds as popular tropes, most notably zombies in the past decade or so, I can’t imagine it would be much fun to play as a brainless individual. However, the vampire provides much more intrigue. Dontnod Entertainment and Focus Home Interactive’s Vampyr does a respectable job of communicating that intrigue and the world of vampires, but not much else."
