GayGamer Preview: Scene It? Box Office Smash

GayGamer writes: "Trivia games, oh how I hate to love you. You help me feel smart and at the same time remind me of just how stupid I can be (which seems to be an easy task). There's the tried and true master, Trivial Pursuit, but luckily for us movie and video nerds, Mattel took a chance on interactive DVD technology at the turn of the century and helped produce the game Scene It? Since then there have been many iterations on the theme, such as Harry Potter, Disney and Marvel versions of the game. Seems like the latest iteration is aimed directly at us gamers, since it will be releasing on the Xbox 360 at the end of the month. Fruit Brute and I were fortunate enough to get a sneak preview of the game, Scene It? Box Office Smash, and I'm here to tell you that it's got plenty of 'Action' to go with the "Lights' and 'Camera'.

Probably the biggest two features the game boasts is that of multiplayer online and avatar support. It's fun to play trivia games together when you have friends over at the house, but it's not fun having friends over at your house every night of the week(and even less so for your neighbors); however, in this game, through the series of tubes that is Xbox Live, you can play anytime with any of your friends that also own the game. Granted, you might not be able to gloat and smack talk quite as well without them in the room, but you can always let your score do the talking."
