You don't get how the events you are doing in the past relate to the present without the present day storyline. Just work harder on making the modern stuff more compelling.

Until they're prepared to devote some serious resources to modern day, they really should just ignore it. Fans want more of it, but what they get is very little with each installment--especially these days. Until Ubi is ready to make the modern day an integral part of the experience, they shouldn't bother with it.

Kinda wish I didn't read that but it makes Odyssey way more interesting than it already was. Probably not read much more about this game since I knew absolutely nothing about Origins and it made the game way better when I realized that there was a reason they didn't show the hidden blade in any of the marketing (which annoyed me at first but totally payed off)

I hate it when the animus crap kills the immersion of the fantastic historical worlds Ubisoft builds. I pay no attention to what happens or what is said in those sequences, I just look for the quickest way to skip through that stuff.

Yeah it’s the origin of origins lol. But it’s the AC universe so who cares. They could have done “odyssey: an assassins creed tale” or something like that but it’s lame and I don’t blame them for not doing that.

Sounds like a bad excuse for making this. I love Greek history and have no issue with this but honestly they just needed the brand name to be able to sell this well!

I think it will be fantastic! But it's probably not an assassin's creed game in reality.
