Twinfinite writes "The history buffs will have noted that Odyssey’s Spartan Greek setting predates Origin’s Ptolemaic Egypt by several hundred years. EU consumer law needs to chew these assholes a new one.
The big note here is the built in ad-displays during gameplay and not that they happened. Start screen, cool. Gameplay? That shouldn't ever happen.

They should just quit with the modern stuff
Until they're prepared to devote some serious resources to modern day, they really should just ignore it. Fans want more of it, but what they get is very little with each installment--especially these days. Until Ubi is ready to make the modern day an integral part of the experience, they shouldn't bother with it.
Ever since Desmond died, the modern day story has sucked.
Stupid explanation. I'll still buy.
I like the idea of getting into the first civilization and artifact stuff more. It sounds different and I’m cool with that.
