Compulsion Games, the creator of Contrast, is now a Microsoft studio. The Canadian company was acquired by Xbox overnight, thus raising questions about whether We Happy Few will even release on the PlayStation 4. The good news is that, because work started long before the buyout, it will still launch on Sony’s system as planned.
"To celebrate its 20th anniversary, QubicGames is bringing a curated collection of its top titles on Steam. As a launch gift to players, there is even a "20 for 20 - Anniversary Bundle" that will be heavily discounted to allow gamers to purchase their favorite titles at irresistible prices. Players who purchase the entire bundle at once will pay less than $20!" - QubicGames.
Microsoft recently revealed its plans to incorporate Copilot directly into video games, with Minecraft being the first showcased example.
F*** AI
"Hey Copilot, what's a good meme to prove I dislike AI".... https://giphy.com/clips/sou...
Two trillion dollar company that just can't wait to put as many people possible out of work as fast as possible.
It feels like every single thing they do is making gaming worse and destroying the industry.
Why all the hate? Im actually excited about this! Always wanted this kind of immersion, and an AI companion with me all the time helping me out knowing the status of my skills/inventory/progress and giving me tips on the best approach or how to craft something specific is game changing for the industry.
Hate all you want about AI, but this is just the start and I can see the potential already. You wont be complaining in the next 5-10 years about this, but rather complain if a game hasn’t implemented it.
Ninja Theory's latest trailer for their highly anticipated narrative action-adventure Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 is absolute cinema.
Like I said before, buying Ninja Theory was one of the smartest moves by Microsoft. Games looks incredible.
badass. already installed via gamepass. if its as great as the first one I will pay for the whole game.
LOL! Didn't send any shivers down my spine but I'll demo it after midnight tonight through Gamepass to see what it's giving.
It looks amazing, I’m hoping the reviews are solid. You can tell the studio really poured their heart and soul into this one.
hmm wonder if Microsoft will let most of these teams they aquired still create games for every system who were small 3rd party devs just to cash in like they do with Minecraft. Makes sense because Microsoft makes money off them anyway. What do u guys think? Only games they will not let be multiplatform will be the huge triple a games which will be what makes gamers buy an Xbox.
They lost me when they announced a season pass either way.
No reason for Gearbox and Compulsion to cancel the PS4 version when it’s so far in development and it’ll most likely end up being the best selling version anyway
money money money
Duh, they have a contract.
