If anyone can do this right, it's him.

Jackhass1652d ago

Yeah, I think SpatialOS is on the right track now. We'll know for sure when we finally see the RPG he's working on.

Chris_Wray1651d ago

He's certainly got the experience. It's working with Spatial that is difficult, with pretty much all but one title now being dead.

Jackhass1651d ago

They definitely tried to make games with it before the tech and tools were really ready.

lmao good we really dont need anymore BR games.

Felix_Argyle_Catbro1755d ago

I would have liked to try 400 player one though.

Cmv381755d ago

Is be interested to try. But if all it did new was have 400 people... then it would have been a let down

InflectionPoint1755d ago

Mega fights have sounded very good on paper since Sony tried to do 64 player battles on the ps2 and 3. It sounded good on paper, and never really changed how the player felt. They touted team work and squad based things, but thats just not how most people play a game. Team games only work if people play as a team.

spicelicka1755d ago

Sounds pointless, would be too many players if they're all in one place which means squads would have to be separated, which means it'll just feel like a big battle game that we've seen before. I think max 64 is best.

CertifiedGamer1754d ago (Edited 1754d ago )

PlanetSide 2 has 1200 players in a single match. You guys can play that if you want to feed yourselves to that.

DarXyde1754d ago

I miss Warhawk.

Connecticut issues aside, that game was a raging good time.

Kyizen1754d ago

Why you drop and die in the first 30 seconds what different does 400 people make?

BR is fun but needs a different direction.

Smokehouse1755d ago

They missed the window. I’m glad that trend faded out quick.

killswitch801755d ago

It's no just a trend. It will be a permanent game mode or stand alone genre going forward. I am not a BR fan but I am not blind to see that this now part of gaming culture forever.

Smokehouse1755d ago

I doubt it. Not to the level it was on where every game was bending over backwards to get that game mode in. Has the new mw announced a BR mode? Because a year ago that would have been the very first thing they announced. The trend is dead and we are all better off for it.

1755d ago
SamPao1754d ago

I agree with Killswitch80

The trend is not dead at all. Some of the most played games out there are just that mode. so how is the trend dead??

RaidenBlack1755d ago

Oh no!
We need more Cry Engine powered games.
