Last night it wasn't it was $19.99 I believe.

admiralvic2168d ago

It wasn't but this article was posted over a day ago when it was actually free. Unfortunately, one of the downsides of the approval process is if people don't approve it, for whatever reason, then most people never see it. In this case, the game was actually free for about three hours and in that time the article hit 30 degrees and like four approval points, it was fixed and no longer free. Kind of sucks for the people who make up the other 270 degrees but it is what it is.

Hardiman2168d ago

Yeah that sucks but I was on there the last two nights and didn't see it listed as free. I got Hob the other night and Surge last night. Just must've missed the window!

Wouldn't have taken advantage of a mistake like that anyway. If I wanted it, I would have bought it honestly to support the developers.

zaherdab2168d ago

I think sony would pay back the developer anyway since hr listing error is their fault

CrimsonWing692168d ago

Yea but the point is integrity.

They end up just removing the license from those that downloaded it during that time, so the dev didn't really lose anything.

It's not the first time this has happened from various companies. Sometimes I've seen where they let people keep their license, and at that time, they would be required to pay whatever their agreement is for listing on a store, as they are selling licenses on behalf of the developer.

@rain that in no way makes it right to me though. Hey, if you're ok with jumping on it, that's fine, I won't judge. But I can't bring myself to do something like that. My conscience would bother me.

These mods enable God Mode for both The Surge and Lords of the Fallen

DSOGaming writes: "Lords of the Fallen was one of the first successful Souls-like games. LOTF was created by Deck13 Interactive and CI Games, with the former creating another Souls-like game, The Surge. And earlier this month, modder ‘Jeff B’ released two mods that enable a God Mode to them."
