Carbine Studios announced in September that the game would be shut down and that the studio would be closing. Since the announcement, players have been able to enjoy the full game without restriction and with a number of in-game events firing off for the last time.

I kinda enjoyed this game when I tried it, a shame it didn't have more success. Though, they're still here, so I guess they're making the f2p model work for them.
The only thing I want to know is when Wildstar is coming to consoles. I really enjoyed the game on PC but I stopped gaming on my PC a couple of years ago.
