New Death Stranding Screenshot Shared by Hideo Kojima Shows Some Beautiful Moss

It’s been quite a while since you saw some new assets from Kojima Productions’ upcoming game Death Stranding, but today Hideo Kojima himself decided to deliver a small tease.

If you look closely to the grass on the right side you can see some jaggies. So it's computer graphics. But quite hard to tell.

yea only after i understood it was in engine i got that but this is seriously the closest thing i have ever seen to photo realism.
also on the subject of Death Stranding i have been thinking of making more news. i looked over at their IR report which came out today and in their image for strategy for this fiscal year, Death Stranding is listed. i am not sure if it's worthy of news though because also horizon and gt sport are listed there, unless they are both getting DLC this year (i can see GTS but i thought GG already works on the sequel which i heavily doubt comes out in this fiscal year haha)

Well Sony have said we'll be getting a deep dive into Death Stranding, and I'm sure (hoping at least) that it will include actual gameplay, and not just talks about the studio history or the vodoo that the Decima engine can do etc etc.

I’m only slightly concerned because I’ve seen Kojima throw around the word “trailer” a lot. ND is crystal clear that we’re getting TLoU2 gameplay; maybe Kojima is just trying to not spoil the surprise.

going by all the teases i expect a "sins of a father" style trailer, meaning a combination of a trailer made by in game cutscenes, actual edited gameplay footage, cast reveal etc.

best moss in the world. notice a trend with the trailers beginning with opening up and viewing the ground. The very first trailer showed dead ground and sand. the next, watery. the third had plants sprouting up (and dying), and finally beautiful green moss. looks like a trend to me! :)

DS is going to be an astoundingly beautiful game, pop HZD in PS4Pro and think DS will built on that engine - with Kojima productions enhancements.

It'll be between TLOU2 and DS for best visuals.
