Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition brings together all the previous released content from the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of the title, plus all the downloadable content, and even throws in a number of new features and costumes and makes it playable on the Nintendo Switch. Unlike a traditional Legend of Zelda title this one blends the characters fans have come to love with the gameplay of the Dynasty Warriors series to create an action packed hack ‘n’ slash"

With Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty coming soon, it's time to look back at the developer's greatest triumphs...and one oddball favorite.
Both Hyrule Warriors games are a blast to play through and offer hours upon hours of content, but how do the two compare against each other?
The fact you can switch between characters DURING missions makes it a lot better than the Wii U version.
The first HW game has a better roster mainly because it spanned several Zelda games and its soundtrack also benefited from it as well. Other than that Age Of Calamity improves on everything else. I find it to be a better game overall.
Played the crap out of the original on the Wii U, even got the 3DS version as well for the extra content. Tried playing Age of Calamity but the frame rate just became too annoying and I just couldn't play it and enjoy it like it did back in the day because of that.
I am getting this.
