Persona 5 Shipped 2.2 Million Units Worldwide; VanillaWare's 13 Sentinels Confirmed for 2018

Sega provided an update for shipments of Persona 5 and talked about some of the upcoming games in its development pipeline.

For those still on the fence about this game. If you like RPG genre, you should seriously consider this game. This game surprised the hell out of me. This game is unquestionably one of the best RPG games of this generation.

I wasn't sure I was going to like this game because I mostly play like games like Battlefield 1, God of War, Bloodborne, and GT Sport, but boy did I end up loving this game. Simply put, it's right up there as one of the best games of this generation. If you enjoy this genre, it's a must play.

For reference, some of the RPG games I greatly enjoyed were WItcher 3, Skyrim, and Final Fantasy 10, which was the last great RPG from Japan that I had played before Persona 5. This was my first Persona game.

Im not sure what the budget was, but they must be happy! Im glad some publishers and devs still know that not every game has to have a 100 million dollar advertising campaign and appeal to as many people as possible. I love my niche targeted games.

Oh man I can't wait for Sentinels 13. I love the games that Vanillaware Games create. Also congrats on Persona 5, especially for it being a JRPG that others may find it niche. The game fully deserved the sales.

It deserves this and more, it really is a god-tier game, now I have the long wait for Persona 6, at least I have the spinoff games like P3/5 dancing and Persona Q2 to keep me company until then.

Really going to have to give this another try. I tried it last year and got to about the 2nd or 3rd dungeon place, but after a great start i found i was getting bored a little, I mean all there was to do was read. Don't get me wrong I'm all for reading as Yakuza series is another one of my faveorite series, nd there is a lot of reading in them. But does this game get better like a lot more game instead of a visual novel that it seemed to be ?. If not then i guess that this game just is not my thing.
