AusGamers has reviewed Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom on PS4 and writes:
"For an odd reason, developer Level-5 thought the bridging character for Ni No Kuni II needed to be president of an unknown country (America, obvs), and that once he landed in the world of Ni No Kuni II -- after a nuclear strike hits the city he’s heading towards for a summit, obvs -- he no longer needed to be an old man, but rather now a young pony-tailed sword-wielding, gun-toting handsome badass. Because JRPG.
What’s even weirder is this sort of only plays itself out to justify that character -- Roland’s -- enlightened sense of leadership. That he so quickly adapts to his new role in this game as protector of a half cat half human boy king whose been usurped is equally ridiculous, and once you accept these facts, Ni No Kuni II presents itself as an awesome, engaging and combat-focused JRPG that sort of makes up its own rules as it plays out. Because JRPG..."
Matt from We Game Daily writes: "Cross Worlds isn’t going away. It’s making a small fortune, particularly in Asian markets, so there’s no reason for Level-5 to pull the plug. That said, there’s no real reason why a full PC/console sequel can’t be developed alongside efforts to support Cross Worlds."
While Ni no Kuni 3 would be cool, if it was like the first game, where is Dark Cloud 3 and Rogue Galaxy 2?
They should've worked with Ghibli to put out a proper movie. Should've also made a Pokemon-esque spin-off rather than make Yokai Watch. If they do make a third game they gotta work with Ghibli!
"Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom - The Prince's Edition is the whole dense, deep story with all of its DLC ready to get lost in on Xbox."

Richard writes: "If you are wanting a more modern JRPG, Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom PRINCE'S EDITION is still well worth a look."
i am terribly sorry, but this game is a 6/10 at best,
has this blogger even played the game? nino 2 is an incoherent mess and the engine is watered down beyond casual.
nino 2 is a disgrace to the brilliant first one.
this game didnt do it for me. it's not bad, but kingdom building is just too tedious. i felt like everything was a step back from story to combat.
