Quite enjoyed his solo stuff so far, though i'm not into everything he talks about!

senorfartcushion2209d ago

That's how most normal people feel. It's strange that you can follow youe own beliefs while acknowledging others'

Not really, it's normal.

Momo1182209d ago

I love the last stand by colin.

NecrumOddBoy2209d ago

lol, Colin's Last Stand. His Podcasts with his brother are fun.

Majin-vegeta2209d ago

Probably talking about this

AspiringProGenji2209d ago (Edited 2209d ago )

aaah the day the humorless sacks of s*** lost it..

coolbeans2209d ago

@Majin

I..think more are familiar with some of his trash on IGN. Prominent example: https://www.youtube.com/wat...

bluefox7552208d ago

@coolbeans I didn't watch the video, but I clicked it, and it literally has "opinion video" in the title.

coolbeans2208d ago

@bluefox

How does having "opinion video" in the title refute my comment? Why do you think you have a point to make despite making 0 effort to understand why I brought up said example?

Harkins17212209d ago

Sure he can be but so can anyone else. Just like crazy Bob Mackey

Realms2208d ago (Edited 2208d ago )

Sorry but some people are too sensitive! It was a bad joke preceded by an open attack by those that have different political views. Even sadder was how Greg Miller got exposed his so called friend threw him under the bus to save Kind of Funny and in the process lost a long time friend. Greg Miller is spineless I lost a lot of respect for him and unsubscribed after that whole situation went down. Colin is better off not being around people he has to walk on egg shells for because they take offense to his belief systems or political views. FYI Tim Getty and Greg Miller are super Liberals and bend over backwards to cater to that audience.

MaxiPower902208d ago

nothing to do with that. lol couldnt give 2 f**** about feminists lol but his heads up his hole. Listened to podcasts he was on for years.

TheOttomatic912209d ago

I've got nothing but respect for this man since he was stabbed in the back by his "best friends" and still sticking to his guns.

generic-user-name2209d ago

I disagree with a lot of what he says when it comes to games, but since he left kinda funny there's been a void. He was a counterweight to Miller and Co and they worked well that way. PS I Love You xoxo was a great show.

His supposed friends threw him under the bus for the sake of ultra PC-ness, and now they've replaced him with utter bores like Jared petty and that British dude who worked on rouge one.

edeprez2209d ago

I'm with you on the Jared petty deal. Lovely man, insanely knowledgeable about video games, but holy shit it's boring to listen to him drone on. Gary isn't that bad, but what does he have to do with video games? I don't know him well but he's a writer i gather. They are wasting a lot of money on talent, that's why they're begging us to go to patreon.

porkChop2209d ago

Gary Whitta has a lot to do with video games. Most people don't know he started out as a games journalist. He's also worked as a writer and consultant in the game industry. His movie stuff came after all of that. He's currently working on the final season of Telltale's Walking Dead, and is rumored to be working on a Diablo project with Blizzard.

NecrumOddBoy2209d ago

Colin was screwed over. Tim Gettys is a horrible piece of human garbage who was the direct result. Tim got kinda funny in bed with RoosterTeeth and a bunch of liberal douchebags, so deep it moved the company far away from Colin and Greg's vision. That is why you don't see solid reviews anymore and all the entertainment is just childish. Nick as always looked like he just dealing with kids because that's his job now but I don't think he was a part of kicking Colin out. Then there is Greg who literally abandon his best friend who was there with him through his career, a divorce and cancer. All you hear out of Greg is a little bitch who's afraid to offend anyone. Greg it's truly a scumbag. Colin even trying to make amends. But Greg was too busy taking it up the ass. It's truly disgusting but they call their community best friends but they would do this to Colin.

I used to dislike Andrea, but she and the Whats Good Girls are intelligent and funny. Gary Whitta is great, but holy hell Jared is like a giant man child and it's really irritating. His voice is annoying and the fact that he has to interrupt for some dumb rant all the time it's so aggravating.

I must have been calling on the show because he was a historian. He also listened to what other people said as opposed to call the others or just waiting to have their turn to speak.

Kinda Funny isn't the same channel it was a year ago.

DeadManMMX2209d ago

Gary Whitta is great and so is Andrea Rene. Jared is ok he goes off track a lot. Andy is hilarious. I think they’ve done well rebuilding since Colin left. I thought they were in trouble. Colin’s contrary opinion was always a huge part of the entertainment value for me.

generic-user-name2208d ago

I like Andrea and Andy is OK, but they are more of the same. Colin was the only one who'd risk offending people and say what he thought.

Now I see Greg and Gary talking about how 'problematic' older Disney movies are today and shite like that.

oasdada2209d ago

Exactly! havent watched any of kinda funny's content ever since he left

I’m more interested in what else he said.

“Neil Druckmann says new Naughty Dog title could ‘redefine mainstream perceptions of gaming’

H922h ago

It will be something like "we erased gameplay all together it's just a movie now"

purple10122h ago

every time naughty dog make a game, you play it and get the feeling "this is not possible'

from the boulder running towards you in crash, on ps1,
to the massive open world of jak and daxter, on ps2,
to the QuickTime events sequences of uncharted on ps3/4

and now we will see what they do with ps5,

H920h ago

Press X for doubt at "PS5"

-Foxtrot18h ago(Edited 18h ago)

Arrogant asshole who sniffs his own farts bigs up next game…sounds like typical PR to me

You know what I find interesting? Almost every site reporting this as the main title where the REAL interesting bit of the interview is Neil praising AI and saying it will be used to help push story, characters, dialogue and more.

It’s super shitty to big up AI especially when it comes to story telling and other creative elements.

senorfartcushion18h ago

Just because someone says this type of stuff, it doesn't mean that it's guaranteed to be good news.

You can say this about microtransactions. MXTs revolutionised the gaming industry.

Levii_9219h ago

Geez how full of themselves are these guys.

Einhander197218h ago

He also said it has "ethical issues we need to address" but of course that doesn't get the clicks.

CrimsonWing6918h ago

I’m all for it. Cuts the time to make a game. Look, Hellblade 2 took 5 years to make, if AI can do that in half the time, as a consumer, I support it.

Chard7h ago

Things will get far sloppier brother
