4K XB1X Enhanced BC Gameplay From Jade Empire, Conker & Panzer Dragoon Shows Amazing Enhancements

Original Xbox titles Jade Empire, Conker: Live & Reloaded, and Panzer Dragoon: Orta are now backwards compatible on Xbox One, and new 4K Xbox One X enhanced gameplay shows how stunning these games now look on Microsoft’s enhanced Xbox console.

Man, I love me some Panzer Dragoon :) I have all three on my Saturn, Saga being my ultimate favorite JRPG, but I've never played this one.

Panzer Dragoon Saga is also my favorite JRPG of all time, and Ive played some good ones. Such an amazing game. Sold it on Amazon for $200 some years back when I was strapped for cash. I wish Sega could make a remaster of it...Id buy it in a heartbeat.

You should definitly give Orta a go...not an RPG but one of the best rail shooters in the series.

oh I am counting on it, Orta looks like a bunch of fun! I am so sorry you had to sell your copies of the game.
I did the same when I was younger and did it bitterly which I'm almost certain is how you felt.
I had to have it for my Saturn collection so I bit the bullet started hunting for the lowest price possible for all discs in pristine condition. Bought them for 150 on Ebay.

Not exactly. Crimson Dragon is a spiritual sequel of sorts and that is by far worse than Orta.

Orta is great, vastly underplayed and underappreciated. It's one of those games that im sure if it came to the Dreamcast everyone would be raving about, but since it ended up as an xbox exclusive it is lost to obscurity.

I think Zwei is my favorite but i'd play Orta over the first

Orta is like playing an entry between PD1 and PD2 with better graphics, which in the wake of Saga made it a little disappointing.

i think its nice to expose "remasters" for what they are, straight ports that run at higher resolution. I no longer have to post screen shots from emulators on pc doing the exact same thing.

1) Enhancements aren’t dependent on Xbox One X. Enhancements also benefit the base Xbox One along with One S. One X will see the most improvement.

2) There’s literally zero guarantee they weren’t free seeing as Xbox One backwards compatibility works with both physical and digital releases. Xbox has also offered gifting digital titles.

3) You’re playing a game in a system it was not originally designed for and a system that didn’t have backwards compatibility from the start so yes, in technicality, you would be receiving the Xbox One version free as the competition has shown they can charge for similar treatment if not less in the form of remasters.

well i already own some of them so i don’t have to buy them again, so it’s a free remaster. With the OG xbox games too, you only need the disc once to install and then never again, so if your friends have the games you can install those too 😉

Was playing Orta yesterday...cant get over how good it looks. The IQ is very clean and crisp. No shimmering or flickering at all. Also have Morrowind, Conker, Jade Empire and somehow I got SSX3 for free even though Ive never own it, but ill take it. Classics.

And again Xbox showcasing the power of the Xbox One X by showing that it can enhance games that came out more than 10 years ago WAY TO GO MICROSOFT. They need to show some real games for this generation of gaming running games great and looking spectacular they're focusing on the past to much they tried a new ip with Sea of Thieves and that backfired on them. The Xbox One X is all hype and no game it hasn't nothing going for it but old games where are the new games running 4k 30-60fps without checkerboarding??? Of course you're fine with everything Microsoft does with the Xbox because you breathe Microsoft they can show Project Gotham Racing in 4k and you people would lose your minds over it OMFG this game looks amazing. But X also shows it can enhance games like Far Cry 5, Rise of the Tomb Raider, The Division, Hellblade, Sea of Thieves, Wolfenstein 2, Shadow of War and many many more. New games, current gen, current gen engine games...why you only want to see BC games speaks to your agenda. Don't get upset with me that I'm playing first party, 3rd party and classic games in 4k...

You keep saying you will hold onto your S....OK...no one here is trying to convince you to get an X, why do you keep telling us. And yes, PGR4 in 4k would be awesome! All those games you mentioned are running on old game engines Far Cry has been using the Dunia engine for the longest time the Tomb Raider engine is old etc etc. Microsoft can't rely on old game engines that ran games over a decade ago Sea of Thieves doesn't look impressive Xbox fanboys are saying OMG that water of the game is soooooo amazing who cares about water in a game I don't and how did those reviews turn out for Sea of Thieves??

Grabbed SSX last night. Haven’t gotten a chance to play it yet. I wish It got the Enhanced treatment too, but I’ll take it as is. It’s one of my favorite games of all time. PDo is one hell of an on rail shooter with lots of unlockable (an entire campaign from the empire soldiers view and also the 1st PD game i believed). Ssx, jsrf, jade empire, conker, etc...are all really fun games. I misses those days when people discuss about fun, rather that faboyish craps.
