With the next COD game confirmed to be Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the next question left to ruminate over is whether or not its third game mode will be zombies, and if it is, what kind of COD zombies can we expect to be mowing down with Pack-a-Punched MGs?
A former developer who spent years working on Call of Duty games at Raven Software has discussed what the Zombies community could have had in a never-ending game. Codenamed Call of Duty Zombies Project: Zed, this free-to-play game would have given the side mode constant updates and microtransactions as you see in Call of Duty Warzone and Multiplayer. It was a standalone title, but would also mean you wouldn’t have had some of your favorite Zombies maps.
A shame, I really don't like CoD multiplayer and Warzone was fun, but got me a bit bored after a while, but I really like the Zombie modes in CoD overall, I really dig them
A cancelled Call of Duty game titled "NX1" had footage surface online, along with a Black Ops 4 unreleased mode called "War."
That Neversoft logo took me back to Tony Hawk days. Sad to see this cancellation led to the studio closure.
It’s always sad to see great concepts destroyed so deep into development. They obviously had a lot of ideas and aren’t happy about it. Now withe layoffs even more videos like this will surface soon.
Call of Duty Zombies maps have been around for a decade and a half now, and Nickolas from The Nerd Stash wants to share his favorite legendary locations to rank.
Of course it’ll have zombies. They even recently separated the zombies maps from the multiplayer and started selling the zombies maps individually.

Treyarch created Zombies, so why is this even a question?
every cod has zombies nowadays ... i'd rather them just split zombies into a stand alone game or do something new ... there is only so many times i can run around kiting zombies honestly got old a few years back IMO :/
I'm turned off of zombies because they overcomplicated it with all the upgrade stuff and running zombies and crap.
All I want is a creepy fog infested stage with a cemetary, forest, abandoned building (old ruins, castle perhaps) some caves and normal weapons and slow but scary zombies who can only overwhelm me by their numbers not by their abilities and speed. You know, old school zombies. Nothing fancy.
