15 awesome PlayStation classics that deserve a modern remaster

MWEB GameZone writes: "These classic PlayStation games would make for an awesome modern-day experience."

We refer to the "Modern Remaster" as the technique used for Spyro and Crash Bandicoot. These are games we want to receive the same treatment.

That’s not a real term

It’s a remake no matter how you twist it. Remasters don’t use new assets that are built from the ground up like remakes do.

That term you brought up applies more to FFVII HD, FFIX HD, & Parappa the Rapper HD.

Tomba 1, Tomba 2, Alundra 1 and 2, Brave Fencer Musashi, Breath of Fire 3-4, Legend of Dragoon, Bloody Roar! would be awesome!!

This is the second such article I've seen lately, and I'm glad Tomba's getting a lot of love. I'd also really like to see Syphon Filter get remade/rebooted with modern aesthetics and controls. Sign me up if Dino Crisis ever does get the REmake treatment. There actually was a remake of the original Tomb Raider, but a remaster of that would be nice, as would a remake of the 2nd and 3rd games.

Its a possibility that the survey would help bring older games to moderns age. Possibilities

It feels like that with most videogame company surveys. I often times wonder why they even bother with them as they usually don't amount to much.

Man imagine the RE engine, Re4 remake's gameplay for a new Dino Crisis game.
