After today’s Amazon Mexico leak, Amazon India has now published a handful of screenshots for the Spyro Reignited Trilogy remastered collection and they look absolutely gorgeous.

Rumour had it as a timed PS exclusive. But I'm glad it's coming out on two platforms on the same day.

I always want my games on Xbox now with the one X. However I can’t play spyro,crash or metal gear on anything but playstation. Just like I can’t play Mass effect or titanfall on playstation.

I'm not into it, but it does look good (looks graphically similar to Ratchet & Clank but more simplified). Who is the developer? I'm hoping this isn't Bluepoint's current project.

From the looks of the screenshots and comparisons to the original versions, it looks like they did a Ratchet & Clank PS4 / Bluepoint level upgrade, at least visually, so that's good for Spyro fans and kids.

Timed exclusives and marketing deals are honestly a waste of money and benefit nobody but the manufacturer. People will buy it on what they want and no amount of "but you can play it first here" drum beating will change their minds.

Its just unfortunate for the other individuals who are made to wait.

I'm of the opinion that if it's going to be on everything sooner or later, just release on all at the same time. But then again I don't know the numbers of any positive outcomes from timed exclusives for the companies, so, shrug.

Its just a tactic to make it look like the others are getting "last year's news". Truthfully they don't work because people started catching on to Microsoft's tactics. The reason they sell less is the hype has passed the game by. Look at the amount of money Microsoft threw at Rockstar just to delay the GTA DLC. Do you consider it worth it?

They paid an inflated price just to create the illusion that the DLC wouldn't exist without them when they could have used that $50 million (or whatever they paid) to fund a unique exclusive.

Definitely agree, it sucks to have timed exclusivity. Developers should either make something permanently exclusive, or not at all. Regardless, I'm just happy this actually exists. This is one of the only series I actually wanted to see remade. First three games were my life back in the day, haha.

i'll buy it 2nd hand, so activision will not see my money, i'll not repeat the same error as i did with crash.

They did one Skylanders game and helped with others and ports. They are also porting the N. Sane trilogy to Switch.

Only tried Spyro a couple times back in the day. Never owned it though. Never liked Crash because it was so linear, but I remember this being more open.
