Blast Away the Game Review Writes: "Even outside of its technical aspects, DOOM is also rather important at the commercial level as well. It’s a game that should be looked at as a door opener for other potential third-party titles that could find life on the Nintendo Switch. Titles such as The Evil Within 2, Prey, and Blizzard Entertainments esports-focused title Overwatch could find mindboggling success on Nintendo’s latest piece of hardware. "

The Switch version is my favorite console version. The motion controls make it more precise than the others.
This is why multiplatform games on Switch work at lower settings. Portability and unique features make up for it for those who value those features. I prefer it on Switch myself.
But that does not make it best for everyone. Some will prefer the higher resolution and framerate. and there is nothing wrong with that. Options are what is best for gamers, and Switch offers just that...anither way to play.
