Do you both get achievements/trophies?

spicelicka2266d ago (Edited 2266d ago )

Pretty sure the answer is yes.

Edit: Nevermind, looks like Darkwatchman confirmed it's not true.

Darkwatchman2266d ago

No. Only the game owner. I played with a friend that doesn’t have it and he got no achievements.

fathertime44642266d ago

Does it reallky even matter? They get to play it for free!
God people are so ungrateful now

monkey6022266d ago

It was a simple question. I didn't see anyone giving out about it. Maybe take a few deep breaths before posting in the future

fathertime44642266d ago

@monkey
Why don't you mind your own?
Look around d and realise that anyone under the age of 25 is always wanting more for nothing. Honestly I'm just tired of the everyone gets a medal generation. If that includes you, well life ain't fair and I have my opinion and if you don't like it boohoo to you

gamer78042265d ago

I really like to see the progress in games I've played with achievements and trophies is all. If I put time into a game to me its worth paying for.

monkey6022265d ago

Again dude you're up in arms over an imaginary comment. There is actually nobody here screaming for anything free.

And not that it's in any sense relative to the conversation I'm over 25 and also of the belief that the current participation medal generation is being Molly coddled. I could care less what your opinion is too, even if it's in line with my own.

Just reckon you need to chill and stop freaking out for nothing

fathertime44642265d ago

@monkey602
The only person here freaking out is you. Apparently you have this imaginary voice in your head of someone screaming. Personally I could care less if you want to know my opinion, problem is you keep giving yours. Dumba$$

monkey6022265d ago

I'm fairly sure i said I didn't hear screaming 🤔 You were the first to start throwing opinions around too.

Clearly your reading comprehension is letting you down here so you're resorting to name calling. That's always a sign of a debate going down the dunny.
I'll leave you to it. Maybe a good night's sleep will calm you out.

fathertime44642264d ago

@monkey602
It's obvious that it's you with the comprehension problems. When I said that you hear screaming in your head it was implied that it was in reference to my comments seeing that you think I have a problem.

You get the achievements but they do not unlock until you play a purchased copy of the game if you had earned achievements using the FREE co-op version.

You can do Xbox Game Share and earn the achievements that way. Or borrow a disk of a friend and simply sign into the game and unlock all your previous earned achievements instantly.

shadowknight2032265d ago

What if they are the age of 26 and they act that way O.O

fathertime44642264d ago

@monkey602
Look at gamer7804's reply to my comment.... You corrected me for nothing, he does want more for nothing. He wants a participation trophy just like I said

A co-op only game should never be a standard

What works for one game shouldn’t suddenly be applied for most other games

MadLad442d ago

All they're saying is it set a standard for co-op games. Not games in general.

Though I'd say they already did that with their previous title Brothers: Tale of Two Sons.

FallenAngel1984442d ago

I meant other co-op games. Those other games should always consider singleplayer and multiplayer in their design

-Foxtrot442d ago

I don't know

I think co-op only games like this are good because it stops developers forcing in co-op into established franchises where it doesn't belong

gold_drake441d ago

im not sure if it set the "standard" of co op games.
