Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice rated for Xbox One in Taiwan

The Taiwan Game Software Rating Information board has rated Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice for Xbox One. A new rating for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was also posted by the Australian Classification board. The Ninja Theory-developed action adventure game was originally released for PlayStation 4 and PC in August 2017. An Xbox One version has not been officially …

Bought it for my PS4, but would rebuy for my Xbox OneX if it’s enhanced

UCForce2259d ago (Edited 2259d ago )

The game is already look gorgeous.

Kribwalker2259d ago

but it could look even better

darthv722259d ago

Horizon already looked gorgeous on a base PS4 but on a Pro it looks even better. Same thing can happen here.

UCForce2259d ago

Sure, it can look better on Xbox One X. But like I said before, Hellblade is gorgeous game and the art styles is very unique.

It already looks good on PC. The PC is the enhanced version and the best version.

LP-Eleven2259d ago

Amazing that you got so many disagrees for stating a fact.

timotim2259d ago

Depends on the PC the gamer is playing it on...

Kumakai2259d ago (Edited 2259d ago )

100%. I already played it on the Pro but I'd go through it again on my One X for sure if enhanced.

IamTylerDurden12258d ago

How did you like it? Hellblade is already upgraded on PS4 Pro, it's gorgeous. Would you honestly buy the game at full price once again just to get a little more 4K? Also, i'm surprised you are an advocate for Hellblade considering it is a short, linear, 3rd person game with a focus on cinematic storytelling. It also has very little replay value and no mp, so i'm surprised you would rebuy it and replay on XB1 X.

Kribwalker2258d ago

though i favour MP games i still play single player games. I just finished putting 50 something hours into AC origins. I bought it for 20% off during christmas time with that coupon sony gave out. So i wouldn’t be paying full price twice. I haven’t gotten very far in it yet, but i’m planning to dive in on that one soon, same with Nier. just started that one as well

Kribwalker2258d ago

Neir is Kinda weird so far but we’ll see where that one plays out. Bought that one on boxing day, wasn’t sure if i’d like it but thought it’s $25, might as well give it a shot

IamTylerDurden12258d ago (Edited 2258d ago )

Krib

In the SoD2 thread you make fun of sp, story driven 3rd person games with an outdoor setting yet you would buy Hellblade twice?

In the SoD2 thread you say that graphics aren't important when defending SoD2 against Days Gone yet you claim you will buy Hellblade again on XB1 X just bc it will have a boost in graphics. Check his recent comment history it's right there.

Kribwalker2258d ago

If given. a choice between two games in a simmilar genre (in this case the zombie genre) i would take something that looks like a lot more fun you can play with friends over a linear single player game.
That being said, again, i will tell you, just like i have 60 million other times, I play single player games. I play single player linear games. One of my favourite new IPs this gen has been Until Dawn. A cinematic experience. But does that mean i want all my games like that? No. I liked it because it was unique. It wasn’t a template being used across first party games.
You can like both linear single player and open world multiplayer, but when given a choice between two simmilar games, and after experiences with SOD, I know adding co-op to it could push it over the edge and make it better then other zombie games, like Days Gone that are single player

P_Bomb2258d ago (Edited 2258d ago )

Don’t worry about being better than Days Gone, which isn’t even out yet. As a zombie co-op game, it would make more sense to compare it to other zombie co-op games like Dead Island, Dying Light, Dead Rising, Left4Dead, H1Z1.

On that front, the demo I watched doesn’t yet surpass Dying Light, and that came out years ago, still getting free dlc. For $30 it’s ok. I got the initial 400/400GS on State of Decay 1 for $20. But simply throwing co-op on it for an extra $10 isn’t some revelation. Goat Simulator has co-op. So did Dead Space 3, and it killed the franchise.

I'm just happy it's going to more gamers. If people want to give them more money to play it again on different hardware, more chance to see more games later on.

Well, they did announced it as a timed exclusive before, so I knew this was coming.

Game was gorgeous, can't imagine much enhancement on this one. Certainly recommend it if you enjoy story driven games.

Goldby2259d ago

Is it confirmed 4k on the one x?

Besides the games main focus is the 3d audio, not how many pixels are in the screen

Darkwatchman2259d ago

It’s only 1440p in the resolution mode on pro with no other visual settings boosted.

Rude-ro2259d ago

$1000 later, I would be concerned for 4K too I guess. Or is it $1400? Did you buy all 3 iterations of a Microsoft console this gen? Going by your history... I think you did. Ouch.
So how does it feel to have totally wasted 3 years of your life defending 720p and dynamic 900p to be where you are now?

Kribwalker2259d ago

@Goldby
if the focus is on 3d Audio it should play back great on the dolby Atmos supported on the Xbox One

Goldby2258d ago

@Krib,

That is true, hope you get a chance to experience the game, amazing story and amazing audio,

Darkwatchman2259d ago

I definitely can. The character model was detailed and it had nice effects work, but environment textures are really inconsistent. The game also at least on console has soft image quality due to excessive post processing. The resolution mode on ps4 pro, where I played it, looks really soft.

Waiting to see what the "Recommended" spec be like!

Skuletor11d ago

Waiting to see if "Minimum" spec targets 30fps 😂

PassNextquestion10d ago

It's my understanding that the frame rate is unlocked on the pc version

Skuletor10d ago

@PassNextquestion
I've seen Ubisoft have PC specs that have targeted 30fps before.

PassNextquestion11d ago (Edited 11d ago )

Why the heck do you need Windows 11 to run the game? I remember there was a ssd feature locked to windows 11 not sure if that's still the case and if that's the reason.. direct storage I believe it is called

DivineHand12510d ago

If those are the minimum specs on PC then why can't the series x do more than 30 fps? Did they intentionally lock it to 30 fps when higher frame rates are possible?

PassNextquestion10d ago

Maybe they didn't want to compromise on the graphics

DarXyde10d ago

Very probable, but I can't really believe that when literally, the Series S ensures that they do.

I kind of think they just want to make it 30fps now to make an update later to keep people "on the hook" or give game pass subs something to look forward to with this game later on.

Personally, I think this game can push at least 45fps, but that's just my opinion. I don't really see a game this short being announced before TLOU2 launched, only to come out *now* and they haven't gotten those frames up.

RedDeadLB10d ago

Probably because they wanted better fidelity and that is probably too demanding for the XSX to push a stable 60fps on. Judging how most games are these days, the performance difference between low to high is sometimes not enough to target double the framerate. A locked, smooth 30fps i better than an unstable 60, even though it feels like picking between two turds.
