Fortnite has received a brand new update for all platforms. This update starts Season 3 and also includes support for locked 60 FPS. This comes at the expense of Dynamic Resolution but how much is the resolution affected with this new mode?
Time for more Turtle action. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are dropping back into Fortnite Battle Royale to confront their nemesis Shredder in Cowabunga, which begins today and ends February 27, 2024, at 9 AM ET.
TechRaptor writes, "If you're looking to get through the Fortnite Season 7 Week 7 Legendary Challenges, we have you covered with all the latest information."
FragHero writes: "Fortnite is an interesting game many have no interest in playing. Here’s why it needs a bots only mode in Battle Royale to help that."
"..an interesting game many have no interest in playing" ....what? For those many people, there are also many that love it and play it a ton. This is a really dumb article.
Fortnite is the most popular game in the world. I doubt Epic needs help from fraghero.com.
This is a dumb comparison, you cannot compare framerate with screenshots. you could be getting 1fps and it'll look the same ffs xD
60fps better fucken be the standard next generation, I swear if sony and Ms push for 8k or some bullshit like that with shit fps I'm going to be pissed.
Dynamic resolution is there to keep the framerate locked. That's the whole purpose.
Makes no sense to turn it off for the purpose of locking the framerate.
My logic nodes just blew.
Options are what we want in the end...good to see X getting continued support from the dev community.
I only started playing Fortnite on a regular basis since the latest Battlepass I have played maybe 50 games before it and more than 50 since I reckon. I personally cant say I really noticed a huge difference with the frame rate being locked at 60fps well maybe not as much as I hoped for at the very least. People seem to bang on about 60fps as if its the be all and end all but as long as the frame rate is stable at 30fps at least I cant say I care.
