THQ Nordic is Steadily Expanding to be a Powerhouse in the Industry

Because it *has* to. Almost every major publisher spend the entirelty of last generation spending transitioning from a lot of mid budget games (and a few high budget games) every year to releasing like 4 super mega budget games per year. Dark Souls sells 2 million copies and is a run away success, if GTA5 only sold 2 million copies it might have killed the company, and would have at the very least been a massive downturn.

Side note: This is *also* why so few AAA publishers put out any games that take any risks anymore. They created a buisness model that cannot really support it, 1 big flop is like 25% of their projected revenue for the year down the drain (give or take, depending on the publisher.) There is a reason I basically just don't play AAA games anymore. Most of what they do are sequels to 5+ year old franchises with 2+ games already in them that have very little new or interesting to offer, and the rest is ruined by microtransactions, lootboxes, or some other form of fuckery that has no place in a $60-$120 game (if you count the season pass necessary to get the full experience)

I love THQ as a publisher. Hopefully THQ Nordic bring in that spark and start working on many games. I would love a new Red Faction, Saint Row (Reboot or Remake 1-2 or ignore the 3rd good ending, the 4th game and continue the classic 3rd Street Saint).

I think at this point Saints Row needs a reboot. Just take a look at what made Saints 2 such a great game, and build on that. 3 was good, but too over-the-top.

I played 3 but meh.
Then I played number 4. Absolutely awesome.

While I see that some may like the old ones better. I am on the other side. The new saints row games(4+) are so unique in the gaming scene I would love to see more of that.
