Here's hoping that if you purchase the game via digital download it will have the patch applied although somehow I doubt it, still we will have to wait and see.

BTW. The last Witcher 3 update was about 17GB but the base game install size was about 50GB.

Yeah, it looked interesting when it was revealed, but I’ve yet to see anything that makes it a day one for me.
I already have enough games on my plate, so I’m already not open to buying more.
I hope it comes out, and is an amazing game. Nothing wrong with picking up a game a bit after it’s release.

I think the premise will turn out to be more interesting than the actual game. I am interested in the game as well, but I'll wait a bit. I'm sure it will be patched to hell the first couple of months and I don't see it selling really well even if it gets good reviews. The price will drop fairly quickly.

True, I might cancel my pre order... I moved to the country 7 months ago and have horrible dsl... I'm sick of large patches and updates... 23gigs is a 3 plus day download. That's almost the size of the game on the disc... There is no reason why more of this couldnt have been added to the disc.

I have unlimited broadband but 23GB is going to slow down my network for a few hours.

I am definitely happy I preordered digital on this one.. I usually buy physical, but my brother and I buy games we both want as digital so we both get to have the game.
