Monster Hunter World Launch Attach Rate on PS4 in Japan Is the Best of All Main Monster Hunter Games

MH is huge in Japan and it will sell whatever platform it's on over there. I remember it single handedly revitalised the PSP in Japan when MH Portable was released. Nintendo saw that and secured it the last few games for the 3DS.

I got it on ps4. I really tried to get into it but the fact you can't even play story missions with friends unless they have already done them is a bit stupid. The overall interface seems needlessly clunky and unrefined. The hub world is just awful, and the load times are atrocious. I am sure a lot will be patched over the years, ut I regret getting it at launch.

About MP which I understand it. But the rest, previous Monster Hunter games have always been like this. It’s always be complex.

This is my first time getting into one so I was unaware of that, but those would of been tolerable if it wasn't for the multiplayer aspect. Lol having groups all together in lobbies but cant join each other? It wouldn't of been impossible to make it more like borderlands would it have?

You are right it has plenty of little flaws and annoyances but what it does right by far outweighs them. I almost gave up on the game and returned it at first but am glad I persevered.

There is a very steep learning curve to truly get into the game. I don't think it hit it's stride until 10-15 hrs in for me. Then something clicked and now I love it. Absolutely not for casual gamers though.

First yes you can play story missions with friends you just have to go in first and watch whatever scene it has. Second the loading is not bad at all at least for me on ps pro and 3rd the hub is great. You go in a lobby invite friends and thats it simple and easy.

I'm glad Capcom saw the value in putting MHW on consoles. Hopefully it stays that way moving forward with the series. Keeping it on handhelds would've held it back from its true potential.
