IGN writes: "Considering how massive an entity Gundam is, I'm not even going to attempt to trace the history of it all or break down the specifics. All you need to know, right at this instant, is that Gundams are a type of giant robot and they generally -- given the right context -- kick a lot of cybernetic ass. With this in mind, let's talk about Gundam vs. Gundam, a PSP game drawing quite a crowd at Sony's booth here in Tokyo.
After waiting in line for a solid hour, I finally got settled in and grabbed the PSP, only to be met with some insane flashing Gundam lights and extremely enthusiastic voice-overs. As is usually the case at TGS, nothing was in English and no instructions were provided, so I quickly selected my character from what I assume was the character selection screen and got things going. After a few animated, Gundam-filled sequences, I soon found myself on a grassy planet peppered with skyscrapers and other testaments to advanced civilizations. It was at this point in time that my Gundam was completely pulverized by a healthy assortment of lasers, bullets and other devious devices that dropped my health bar like nobody's business."

Thunderbolt writes: "Straight from the arcade and onto your PSP, Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam VS Gundam is a port of a very popular Japanese arcade game using one of the country's most-beloved franchises. The original features the Gundam franchise's most popular mobile suits and pilots duking it out in a fast-paced 3rd person action game that had simple controls but still had a bit of depth. And the PSP version isn't just the same game gone portable, though, and there are quite a few different additions included, such as the new mobile suits added to the rosters and unlockable art and movies."
I really hope this title makes it states side. I'm a bit of a mecha nut, and gundam goodness on the go would suit me just fine.
