Oh, good! It's the only one I haven't really played because I had moved onto PS4/Xbox One by the time it came out.

ziggurcat2319d ago

I haven't done physical since April 2014. I am also not going to go out and buy a physical disc of the X360 version when I can get this version with updated visuals/frame rate.

starchild2319d ago

The same with me. It's the only Assassin's Creed game I haven't played, so this is great news to me. I'm a big fan of the series and I've heard good things about Rogue.

Silly Mammo2318d ago

I have a physical copy for the PS3, but never opened it. Went PS4 and never went back.

Mr Marvel2318d ago

Same here.
I was hoping for a PS4 release.

Neonridr2320d ago

Remember when we bought new consoles to play new games? j/k

Mr Marvel2318d ago

We’re getting plenty of those too.

Sgt_Slaughter2320d ago

Another game that easily can be on the Switch but for whatever reason, not going to be released for it.

Was looking for this on PC recently but this works better.

FullmetalRoyale2319d ago

I loved Black Flag, so that naval combat on the go sounds perfect. But alas, it doesn’t seem to be happening. On the plus side, at least I’ll be able to platinum it!

Mr Marvel2318d ago

Agreed.
Black Flag was my favourite AC game until Origins. The naval combat in BF was awesome fun.

Mr Marvel2318d ago

I’m guessing it’s much easier to do a PS4/Xbone port than trying to optimise an open world game for Switch.

Sgt_Slaughter2318d ago

I think if Dark Souls can be ported, and Payday 2 can work on it, Rogue should have no issues in either mode.

FallenAngel19842320d ago

Assassin’s Creed: Rogue was far superior to Assassin’s Creed: Unity

The better 2014 AC game got overshadowed

Concertoine2319d ago

Its just insane to me that two AAA AC games came out on the same day.

Skuletor2319d ago

The announcement only mentions Xbox One & PS4, I'm wondering if the "remastering" will include any improvements over the original PC release.

starchild2319d ago

If it does have improvements they better release it for PC too or I'll be very disappointed. I own all the other Assassin's Creed games on PC.

kevnb2319d ago

I doubt they improved anything.

Zero Dawn sold really well so I’m not sure this belongs. The second game released next to a big game again and it hurt it some I forget what it was though, oh yeah Elden Ring .
But a good game is a good game to me I don’t care when they release personally but they do have to think about it when you want to get more people to buy it.

Top 4 Open World Games With the Best Enemy AI

From Xfire: "Enemy AI is a difficult subject to tackle in video games. Some may argue that current tech isn't advanced enough to implement ultra realistic AI. However, in a world where your phone's AI can book appointments for you, can't it spot a hooded figure hiding in a 'crowd' of four people? In fact, the AI in 2006's The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was so smart that the developer had to 'dumb' it down for the final release."

Full Chronological Order Of All The Assassin's Creed Games

From Xfire: "Blending real-world history with a gripping fantasy story is quite a thrilling concept but with a dozen games released over a period of 13 years, understanding the chronological order of the Assassin’s Creed franchise can be a challenge for anyone. This is further complicated by the fact that Ubisoft decided to leap through the timelines with the release of Assassin’s Creed Origins.

The exact play order of the series can be a heated subject among the core fanbase. Should you play the games in chronological order? Or should you play through the series in order of their release date?"

Cool feature. The anchor point links need to be fixed in the article, but otherwise great stuff. Thank you for posting!

Thank you, just realised that the TOC is not working
