Not surprised that the xbox 360 version looks terrible, compression leads to poor graphics as witnessed by 99% of all xbox 360 games

Montrealien5681d ago (Edited 5681d ago )

Shane says. "Star ocean 4 looks good" "graphics look pretty good" "star ocean is a really good game, don't get down on it"

There's more titles for you. you fail, as usual.

title of this story should be,

"1up yours 10/10/2008"

GiantEnemyCrab5681d ago

Then why did you approve this Montrealin? This commentor is the exact same person who posted the story with his 50 multiple accounts.

Montrealien5681d ago (Edited 5681d ago )

I was the 10th approval...

*runs and hides.*

"damn you troll! daaaawwwwmmmm yoooouuuu diiiirrrttttyyy trroolllsss!!!!"

JasonPC360PS3Wii5681d ago

"99% of all 360 games" then what do you call the 99% of all the PS3 games that look worse?

Anyone remember all the crack babies being born in the 80's? This ^^^ is what happens when they grow up.

Lanoire5681d ago

This is the OPEN ZONE and the original poster is allowed to say whatever he wants to say, biatches.

Montrealien5681d ago (Edited 5681d ago )

Xheratuul5681d ago (Edited 5681d ago )

i am pleasantly unsurprised since the RAGE tradegy that happened before.

CrazzyMan5681d ago

i won`t be suprised, when PS3 version of Star Ocean 4 will be MUCH better. =)

Xheratuul5681d ago

of course, uncompressed equal better and crispy quality.

tErabyte5681d ago

Meh,never played Star Ocean 3 so I dont really care, although I must say;If DVD9 is the culprit for the low-poly models, then Microsoft better come up with some compression solution for 3rd party devs.

TheHater5681d ago

Star Ocean 3 was a let down overall compare to the first two. But hay, that is just my opinion.

tErabyte5681d ago

I'll have to see ALOT more of Star Ocean 4 before I buy it,hopefully they'll release a Demo as well

Harry1905681d ago

Star Ocean 3 was mediocre compared to its predecessors. This one looks like Star Ocean 3.5.

Roukuko5681d ago

ya so3 was junk i think its just cause all these games try this real time junk now instead of turn based rpgs just havent been the same.

though kingdom hearts did pull it off pretty well.

Silogon5681d ago

the screen grabs are probably from the ps3 version.

kratos-i-am5681d ago

lol such a hater! It's an Xbox exclusive as of this moment! + They are showing it off in an MS booth which is next to Square's.

Close_Second5681d ago

The sooner you're reduced to one star the better off everyone else on this site will be.

DrWan5681d ago

Good idea, reducing in process.

sonarus5681d ago

lol good one silogon

I don't knw from what i saw it looked okay but i also only saw off screen vids

ShinMaster5681d ago

One can tell how good a game generally looks by the way the hair is rendered.

PS3 FFXIII renders hair much better than 360's Star Ocean.

Both games have the same status. Square-Enix is only working on the PS3 version of FFXIII and that's what they're only showing.
Same thing for Star Ocean. No one's seen PS3 footage of it yet.

IntelligentAj5681d ago

I must be by myself when I say I don't give a damn how refined the graphics are. Give me a story and gameplay like the last two and i'm off into the sunset with my purchase.

Lanoire5681d ago

which is 30 feet apart. Get your facts straight.

SE and MS are not buddy buddy. SE only has one buddy by the name of Money.

Damn, I so want Wada to end TGS like he did at fking E3 just to shut fanboys like you up.

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Jayz2cents a supporter of there products also has issues

As someone that has built a watercooling rig. EK is big, but there's so many numerous watercooling part companies out there. EK's stuff isn't exactly amazing quality for the price compared to others either, it's just ok. Much like Corsair. The impact would be negligible long term. For perspective the majority of my parts are XSPC, at most I use EK for my gpu waterblocks and fittings. Both easily replaceable.
