Push Square: "The PlayStation Store is big business for Sony. While software continues to retain a retail presence, we’re teetering perilously on the edge of a dramatic swing towards digital – and the PlayStation 4’s premium plaza is poised to clean up. The Japanese giant already rakes in unfathomable sums of money through the online storefront, and with such big bucks swirling, we reckon it’s time that the platform holder enhanced the entire shopping experience."
This looks like a great way to play.
Rocksmith+, the award winning music-learning app that teaches you guitar and piano with thousands of hit songs, is coming to PlayStation and Steam on June 6, and is available to wishlist now on both platforms.
Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson stated in a recent EA Earnings Call, that the next Battlefield "it is going to be another tremendous live service.”
Another? ANOTHER?
Is he honestly trying to make out like the last Battlefield was a huge success, not just as a game but as a live service game? I'm sure these guys live in their own echo chambers, they are so far removed from reality or they just like talking out of their arse trying to rewrite history.
Also why say such a tone deaf statement when you know the state of live service games at the minute and how many gamers feel about them. Bigging up the next BF game as live service does not give me any excitement or hype.
Already on Steam with some of the finest review shouts you'll ever likely see, Amanda the Adventurer is soon coming to all major consoles
I really like the cart option the PS store has and I wish MS would add this to their own marketplace. Sometimes I see a game and pit it in the cart to save for later when I have the funds. It would be cool if MS had an option to mark a game to return to it for purchase.
"must improve"
Given their position right now i don't think they MUST do anything different than they already are. I think a better name for the title could be something like this "5 ways the Playstation store could improve in 2018"
I'm in the minority here, but I actually still prefer the old PSN store used during the early days of the PS3's lifecycle. It was quick, concise, and responsive.
The only other thing I wished Sony improves and work on is the download speed from PSN when downloading games.
Just completely change it. Ever since this style was introduced it has been a nightmare to navigate and just plain look at...and that search scroll, who was the drunk who thought of that?
Just give me the option to gift games or funds to someone, would love to gift my friend living in another state something cool for his birthday or christmas
