Been waiting for this. Just hope Switch frame rate is stable

PlayStationswitch2359d ago

I've had no issues with it. Only time the frame rate dropped was during the opening sequence but only for about a couple of seconds.
The game is great so far and it's been getting good reviews which is good to see

Looks decent, plus another game that is clearly getting the switch live without the need for the shiniest of graphics

Chris_Wray2360d ago

Be interesting to see how well it runs on Switch. Good that they've really worked on the PS4 pro version, upping it to 60fps on 4K.

PlayStationswitch2359d ago

So far it's been running good. I been playing it in handheld mode

Jackhass2359d ago

Come on, we can't get the Switch version up to 60fps? Not that it matters that much in a strategy game like this.

Alexious2359d ago

Maybe if Nintendo made a more powerful hardware...

superchiller2359d ago (Edited 2359d ago )

Agreed. But Nintendo has a long history of cutting corners when it comes to their gaming hardware, and the Switch follows the same pattern.

Vegamyster2359d ago

It's not like this game is remotely visually demanding compared to other 30 fps games let alone 60 fps games on the system lol.

DarXyde2358d ago

superchiller,

"Nintendo has a long history of cutting corners when it comes to their gaming hardware"

Literally the last two consoles before Switch counts as a long history?

You may be a bit young to comment on that...

You see it as Nintendo cutting corners, but it's clearly more about taking another direction. The hardware is literally a handheld AND console, has the best motion sensing tech of any console and advanced force feedback.

If you think lack of "power" suggests they've cut corners on hardware, I think you're mistaken.

Ummm, does indie mean something different now? Cause if Sony owns them, than aren't they no longer an indie studio?

2115d ago
Darkborn2115d ago

That is true.. Exclusive for Microsoft means something entirely different now.. So does 4k.

isarai2115d ago (Edited 2115d ago )

Maybe they mean it was an indie team before sony acquired them? I don't know but it is quite the oxymoron

The_Sage2115d ago (Edited 2115d ago )

Hello, Pink...

To answer your question; Indie refers to an independent studio regardless of the publisher. They're not owned by a publisher, even though they may be funded by one that also owns its own development studios.

From now on we can laugh together at those that don't understand this truth.

Note... If Sony owns a studio, I would not call them indie. Maybe previously indie, but once owned by Sony, it's a Sony studio.

Unties only publishes games to pc, nintendo systems and ps

Lmao all comments here are wrong, Unties is owned by Sony Music. Unties publishes games by indie studios not owned by Sony, which is why they are 'indie'. Because Unties is not owned by Sony Computer Entertainment, it therefore doesn't need to publish exclusive Playstation games.

Former Tiny Metal Staffer Retracts Accusation Of Kickstarter Embezzlement

Although Tiny Metal was released last December, along the way a former AREA 35 employee - who worked as a PR Manager on the game - issued a statement accusing the Yura of embezzling funds from Project Phoenix's crowdfunding to produce it.
In the latest update, the issue has now been resolved in mediation court in Japan. The former employee who made the accusations has now retracted the statement made about the Tiny Metal team using money from the Project Phoenix Kickstarter campaign to fund the game's development.
