Shadow of the Colossus PS4 is a gorgeous, timeless experience - PlayStation Universe

From PlayStation Universe: "A PlayStation legend receives new life with the Shadow of the Colossus PS4 remake. Here's what we thought after playing the game at PSX 2017."

Hardiman2361d ago

So true so true! I loved the big life sized Colosi they had at PSX! It was so cool people could go up it's back and pug the septum it's mark.

freshslicepizza2361d ago

It looks good, much better than my PS3 version but they have to be careful offering games in 60fps because some will start questioning why more games are not higher than 30fps. They really need to bump up the CPU next gen and take 60fps gaming seriously on consoles.

GNCFLYER2361d ago

You know how it is. Devs usually want the eye candy and 30fps which is usually fine.

bouzebbal2361d ago

gotta play the SOTC HD before just for the fun of comparing.
just need to find the PS3 disc.

Hardiman2361d ago

Predictive text got me lol! Pug the septum in its mark! I meant put the sword in its mark.

I want this game for PSVR.... Imagine scaling the Colossus with VR and falling off.

G20WLY2361d ago

Been hoping the same. With The Last Guardian experience free on VR now - and beautiful - we might get our wish! Maybe. God I hope so!!

GamingSinceForever2361d ago (Edited 2361d ago )

It's time to move beyond just the experiences now. It's been a year already so there should be only full fledged games coming out in VR. In fact, that would have made more sense a year ago when both VR and TLG came out.

G20WLY2361d ago

^yeah, two things.. First of all, there are LOADS of games! In fact, there are more exclusives on PSVR alone that on Xbox one, for example.

Secondly, TLG on VR is FREE!! If you don't want it, don't download it, Mr Negative lol

The point I was making is that Team ICO games and VR are no longer strangers, so there MAY be so hope of SOTC VR, even if still unlikely.

I was thinking the same. I'm thinking at the end of 2018, or early-mid 2019. #SoC-VR

Daman Shelley from NoobFeed writes - Dragon's Dogma is truly a one-of-a-kind game, and there really is no other game like it, but there are a few that come close. I can still hear the title screen music in my head after nearly 12 years. Loved every minute of it.

MrNinosan135d ago

I have no issues filling my time til DD2.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Infinite Wealth and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will probably me more than enough.
More terrified I won't be done in time.

DivineHand125135d ago

Try not to burn yourself out before the game releases. This is going to be a long and immersive RPG like the first one.

The games in this article are all great and I believe the people who are excited for Dragons Dogma 2 probably already played most of those games.

For now, I recommend you prepare yourself for long play sessions if you will be picking up Dragons Dogma at launch.
