_-EDMIX-_2353d ago

Agreed, if there is....day 1 on that version easy!

starchild2353d ago

It does look amazing. Such a big improvement to the visual presentation compared to the original. I can't wait to play it.

Genuine-User2353d ago

It must be a complete remake of the original.

Babadook72353d ago

Yah I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of this remake. Gorgeous.

Gardenia2353d ago

Clickbait. This video is old

morganfell2353d ago

The only clickbait is your post.

WeAreLegion2353d ago (Edited 2353d ago )

Actually, this IS an old video. It's just being uploaded now. How did none of you see this before? It was recorded during Paris Games Week and was streamed during the show. I've seen it a few times now.

Genuine-User2353d ago

I have seen this footage before but the dev commentary is new.

WeAreLegion2353d ago

No, I mean the commentary and everything. I heard it when it was live.

showtimefolks2353d ago

sony needs to buy blue point games even thought they are the masters of remasters(no pun intended) they put pure love and affection into their work. like in MGS hd collection they allow you to switch games without quitting something to this day many remasters get wrong

_-EDMIX-_2353d ago

Agreed.

If they plan on doing remasters every gen on certain series, I think it would be a good investment.

Cyborgg2353d ago

I would like to see them create their own game someday.

_-EDMIX-_2353d ago

@cyborg-I don't know about that. I have no clue how this team would actually do actually really making a game.

All they've done is actual transfer jobs.

UCForce2353d ago (Edited 2353d ago )

I agree. Bluepoint is very talented and they have their potential.

talocaca2353d ago

Beyond sold on this one....also releasing for $39

corroios2353d ago

Bluepoint is the number one studio on doing remakes. What an amazing job.

_-EDMIX-_2353d ago

remasters.

Until this, Bluepoint has never "remade" a game. They did transfer jobs, to my understanding, this is a full ground up remake and Japan Studio is helping as Bluepoint games has never done something like that to such a scale.

Remastering is when they are transferring a game to another system, that is not what this is.

Remake is them literally putting in code and making a game from the ground up or in this respect "remaking" a game from the ground up and is something completely different.

Think of remasters or ports like DVD to Bluray or Star Wars VHS to DVD or Bluray restorations

That as you know is not the same as a film remake ie Cape Fear 1962 vs Cape Fear 1991.

As you know...what was just compared are not the same things. Restoration of a film or game, is not a "remaking" of.

Daman Shelley from NoobFeed writes - Dragon's Dogma is truly a one-of-a-kind game, and there really is no other game like it, but there are a few that come close. SovereignSnaKe116d ago

I can still hear the title screen music in my head after nearly 12 years. Loved every minute of it.

MrNinosan116d ago

I have no issues filling my time til DD2.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Infinite Wealth and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will probably me more than enough.
More terrified I won't be done in time.

DivineHand125116d ago

Try not to burn yourself out before the game releases. This is going to be a long and immersive RPG like the first one.

The games in this article are all great and I believe the people who are excited for Dragons Dogma 2 probably already played most of those games.

For now, I recommend you prepare yourself for long play sessions if you will be picking up Dragons Dogma at launch.

Do they explain in the video why there are two numbers 3? Starfield and Tears of the Kingdom?

It's always refreshing to see games embracing the streaming community.
