Good for them. Was always a fan of Larian.
The original ... Original Sin ... was also fantastic. Not to mention that Divinity 2 (proper) is one of the most entertaining action-rpg's I've ever played. And the writing was golden.

I find it highly interesting that these small to medium sized teams (Larian, Obsidian, Hairbrained Schemes) are making wholly in-depth, amazingly interactive roleplaying experiences that are, time and again, putting the old guard (Bethesda, Bioware) to shame. Not even talking the shoe-string budgets they work with, by comparison, but through crowdfunding even.
It's a great time to be a proper rpg fan.

Just finished the game. 150 hours! GOTY.

Congrats. Great game.
GOTY contender.

I'm slowly making my way through the first Divinity. It's a great game, but I had difficulties with the combat... About 30ish hours in, I'm finally figuring it out. Game is starting to grab me more and I'm sure Divinity 2 is amazing and improves on everything.

Night and day between the two. Combat is so much richer and character back stories and quests are awesome. Voice acting is MUCH better as well.

GOTY if PUGB wasn't shoved down everyone's throat

These kinds of lists are often terrible for me, mainly because I either already have the games, or I'm just not interested in some of them. Great for people new to PC games or people who haven't kept up with game releases.

I'm too poor these days to buy every game like I used to. I quit my job because it was too exploitive. So until I find a new one I'll be enjoying my immense backlog lol

FinalFantasyFanatic55d ago

Mine's become very exploitative too, sick and tired of doing the work of 3 or 4 people, failing and getting stressed out while the company makes record profits every year. I can't go without work, but I'm hanging on until I can find something else, sometimes it sucks living in a rural/regional town.

@finalfantasyfanatic
Yeah I'm lucky that I can go without work for awhile. Otherwise I would have just had to bear it. Hang in there. One important thing is to always be looking for a job somewhere else on the side if you're even a little bit unsatisfied.
