TGS 08: Level-5 video roundup

Level-5's Tokyo Game Show booth featured a Closed Theater presentation (much like their competitor, Square Enix). However, unlike the other JRPG overlord, Level-5 encouraged us to actually let you watch these trailers as well by endowing us with a DVD (courtesy of booth girl). Our favorite trailer of the three new games unveiled at TGS this year is for PSP: Ushiro, a horror-themed RPG that has you playing a ghost haunting his darling (in a not-so-Patrick Swazey way).

Just watching that EPIC, EPIC, INCREDIBLY EPIC trailer sends shivers down my spine.

The art style, the visuals, the crystal clear graphics, textures is just UNBELIEVABLE.

can we just stop comparing every game to a 360? Just enjoy whatever game you get and lets be honest here, we are getting a ton of good games, but the 360 already has a huge software library....so all these comparisons make people sound really boring =/

White knight Chronicles looks fan f*cking tastic, the two Dark Clouds and Rogue Galaxy are some of my favorite games. However If you think it is the nail in the 360`s coffin, you are nothing but a bandwhore fantart.

I love when nasim replies to nasim. You then realize that he really does need professional help. It is good to see that he didn't use a rope after seeing that the 360 beat the ps3 once again in Japan. He gets really emotional when that happens. With it happening 4 weeks in a row, I got concerned.

I enjoyed that 10 year retrospective of Level-5 in the last video. They really haven't made a stinker in all those 10 years.

Awesome stuff. That horror RPG for the PSP and that Studio Ghibli DS game are looking fantastic :)

Ushiro (horror jrpg) looks really good, I just don't wanna have to get a PSP now...I also translated the last line that shows up in the trailer
"My ushiro, he comes in" I think that's what it says if anyone cares.
