The Switch is going to continue getting highly-rated third party AAA games.
Perhaps not the ones that make emphasis of being realistic-graphics powerhouses that would run like crap on even a base PS4, but it will still get great games from franchises like the Tales of series and from devs like Bethesda and Namco-Bandai.

Nintendo always does something really great and crappy at the same time.. I have a love hate relationship with them.. I have no desire for the online service what so ever.. Sure its not expensive but at the same time, its not a value.. Cloud saves is some BS to lock behind a paywall but so be it.. They couldve let us save data to the FN game carts like they always used to.. Very disappointing..

My big thing is they're sitting on what's potentially the best legacy system they've ever had, and can release so many classic titles from so many classic systems that the Switch can likely handle, but they're taking forever to do it and when they finally do, they will do it wrong and not give users the option to purchase and own digital copies of these games separate from their online service.

I'm hoping they're just trolling us and actually have something up their sleeves at E3 that will make me change my mind about them, but as someone who has a love-hate relationship with them too, it only took one announcement to put them firmly on my game company hate list and I've never been as glad that I haven't yet invested in a Switch.

i doubt the virtual console is coming back anytime soon.. They wouldnt bother releasing the NES/SNES classic consoles again if they wanted to sell roms online. Maybe theres licensing issues with the games idk.. It suck but as long as they add more games beyond NES titles it might be cool since they have MP options

@DivineAssault So what you're telling me is I should look into emulation rather than giving Nintendo any more money for now. Got it. I don't own a Switch yet so I'll continue to hold off for now. I'm sure my laptop can handle SNES roms. I prefer to support game companies wherever possible but I'll leave it up to Nintendo to decide if they want my money or not.
