As much as I live John Constantine, he is NOT a fighter. He doesn't even have that much innate power. Constantine is a con man who manipulates the supernatural for his own ends, not a superhero duking it out with everyone. You might as well add a member of the Endless to the roster, for how ridiculous it'd be.

Personally, if I wanted a supernatural member of the DCU to apoear in the game, it'd be Jason Blood/Etrigan.

Rumors of Rorschach from Watchmen, Constantine or Spawn being one of the final dlc characters but instead we got TMNTs, Hellboy not being a DC character, Raiden and Sub Zero being in dlc packs when some people wanted just DC characters etc. 2 Mortal Kombat characters was questionable to me but I'm cool with the rest, plus Raiden got a Black Lightning skin which kind of made up for him.

Oh shiza, that's pretty sweet. And i'm super adamant against guest characters, but Hellboy and TMNT are both comic book characters and a welcome addition.

Will they play as one character?

I expect them to play as one character, and there are a few ways they could do it:

1. Have each turtle be worth half a health bar with a tag mechanic that lets you call in turtles whenever you want. (Each round you get 2 full bars.)

2. Pick one turtle to be the one you play as and have their own special moves, but also each turtle has their button combination that lets them do assist tyoe moves when they are not being used as the main turtle.

3. All turtles share the same healthbar and you can switch between them using a button combination, kind of like Shang Tsung in the MK games.

The main character is going to be Leo with the squad specials. That’s what they made it seem like on the trailer fade and it makes sense since he’s the captain anyway.

Some people just think there are more qualified characters that should be on a DC roster. But this is what NRS does. these days. They did it with MKX adding random guest characters over bringing back actual MK fan favorites. I personally think TMNT are cool and I'm usually against guest characters but at the same time I think people have a right to complain if they want. Honestly, post DLC NRS fighting games feel like they lose their original vision set out on release. Things just get muddy and it feels more like a versus fighting game where you mash up a bunch of universes instead of staying true to one.

Yeah they had a crossover with batman then again with the justice league. Power rangers also had a crossover with the justice league. This is awesome though, still want that tmnt game lIke arkham.

Both Hellboy and the TMNT have comic crossovers with DC, specifically Batman, so they even fit within the overall DC universe. By that token, upcoming packs should have Spawn and Judge Dredd. They'd both fit in PERFECTLY. I'd give my newborn for Dredd, myself, he's my absolute favorite comic book character ever.
