Prince of Persia TGS trailer is drool-worthy

TVGB: "It's no secret that we're head over heels for the new Prince of Persia here at TVGB and simply can't wait for its December release. When it comes to the gameworld, so far we've mostly seen the darker side of things, ie the land still in the Corruption's grasp, so our love for the title is based on what's probably a small chunk of the game. But this new TGS trailer changes that by showing more of the environments in their 'light' form. And to understate it, it looks good. Hopefully Ubisoft will be sending out some nice new quality screenshots of these areas during the coming days as TGS kicks off, in which case it's quite possible I'm going to need a bucket."

PS3 lead platform? Excellent news for PS3 owners.

Waiting for the "exclusive DLC" announcement from Microsoft.

They have to spend their ensemble money somewhere don't they?

Such a pretty, pretty game.

rdgneoz35703d ago

Yah, it looks beautiful. Anyone know the name of the song they used in it?

MvmntInGrn5703d ago

Well it certainly is pretty, I am still afraid it is going to casual so I want to see some reviews.

I will say that yes it is lead on PS3, but so far the only direct PS3 footage was in QORE I think, and it looked like it had no AA, the 360 demo did I think. This is just what I have seen, anyone else see any PS3 footage recently?

I could be wrong, QORE video quality is quite suspect at times.

10 Super NES Games You’ll Probably Never Beat

If you’re a gamer “of a certain age”, you may vaguely remember the moment when games went from a grueling gauntlet requiring all your skill and concentration to tackle to a casual, checkpoint-containing, cruise control-encouraging walk in the park.

I beat Jurassic Park multiple times!

Jurassic Park had no save system, so I would leave the console running while I went to school, took breaks. It's not that it's hard, it's just tedious. But I was a Jurassic Park obsessed kid (around 13 when this hit), so I would obsessively scower ever inch of the maps (both 2D and 3D) until I had them memorized.

The Star Wars trilogy, I only beat w the cheat codes.

Sounds just like me. I mapped out the indoor areas on paper, leaving the SNES on for days at a time. But I never finished the game. I collected all the raptor eggs except one. So close !

Neonridr594d ago

oh god, I remember beating JP on SNES and like you said, it was all in one shot.

I dunno about this list though, I beat all the Star Wars games and while some levels were tough, it was easy to get powerups and extra lives and stuff. Maybe set to the hardest settings it was tough. I also beat Contra 3, loved that game to death.

with the exception of Jurassic Park and Prince of Persia, I've beaten every other one of those. It just takes practice and time. Something I had way more of when I was younger.
