There's a difference. Killzone 2's ground textures are "OMFG" worthy but this trailer isn't. Do you really wanna know what I think about this video? Well. I thought it was decent up until the in-game footage came in. Looks like a PS2 game.

I don't know why some of you even respond to Rick, I mean he's one of those who never even bothers to express a decent arguement, in a nutshell all his comments are the same xbox sucks, sony is god which is why started ignoring him awhile ago. On topic, I thought it was a cool advertisement but I always like when they incorporate bit of gameplay in trailers/commercials.

I agree with jokes and I mean seriously, who in the right mind would actually even read any comment from Rick and take it serious. And if any of you watch this footage with terrible gunplay, muzzle flash, physics, glitchiness, and a unstable looking world with framerate problems you will quickly see that KZ2 is turning out to be more of KZ1. http://n4g.com/ps3/NewsCom-...

Actually that commercial was perfect. It was clearly marketed to the kid/teen demographics. It shows how you can become anything you want to be...at a time when young people are still trying to figure out what they want to do or be when they grow up hence why they used a real actor, people can relate more to a human persona than an animated character. This will spark the interest that the user can put himself into the eyes of the character and actual shape and mold him/herself in the games world.

Perfect marketing commercial targeted to the perfect demographics...anyone who didn't understand the commercial is obviously an ignoramus and lacks any kind of intellectual comprehension. or is just a Sony Fanboy which is a whole other sperate set of issues.

Different kind of commercial, I liked it even though I am of those who prefer actual gameplay ads.

I sense some kind of relation with all MGS ads, ie Fable, Mass Effect, Halo 3 and Gears, they seem to try and appeal to real emotions, intimacy, hard decisions, loss, sacrifice, they are in some level quite similar.

you can play it 2 player on the same console think lego starwars style drop in and drop out co-op but I don't think you can play system link co-op

dont get me wrong, I have LBP on pre order and i cant wait to try it out, and sure you can make all neat stuff like calculators and teris games in it...

But at the end of the day, its just a 2d platformer at heart, not sure how long a game like that can entertain me.

LBP is going to be a great platformer(and possibly more) with great replayability and fable my wrpg with amazing replayability. simple as that. I don't understand why people are bashing a fable 2 promo. Geez it's a PROMO. And it actually is an interesting and cool visual promo at that. Gota give it to microsoft, they know how to advert. And why are people bringing up KZ2 in this thread? What does a Fable 2 promo have to do with that? Fable 2 graphics look good imo, it definitely doesn't look like ps2.

It's obvious the camera is messed up. And that footage is a CLOSED kz2 beta. Any issue that may or not be true can be addressed in between this time span to launch. It comes out in Feb09! That's like 3 months and some change. And why are you saying it's looking like kz1 over again? Your bashing a game over a video? please

Why you so desperately seek and attack my comment is odd though when there are many others just hating without any proof or substance. KZ2 might be a good game but the overwhelming praise it's getting is a little out of control and not deserved based on the developers track record and of course this vid. Bioshock runs on UE3 (something incompatible with PS3) and also a PORT of the X360 version

PS3 has games like MAG --256 player online, KZ2 --makes anything on garbage box 360 look like s***. Not to mention WKS --1080p ,16 player online for an RPG

WIPEOUT HD -1080p ,60 fps --something which is impossible on GARBAGE BOX 360 since it cant even do 1080p native

Bioshock PS3 looks almost as good as the x360 version NOW with ADDED BLOOM FILTER

What's funny is Bioshock 360 actually has better graphics then KZ2 and even the ground and wall textures look much much better. The only game that looks ok for PS3 so far in 2009 is HEavy Rain but we already know that the Alan Wake footage is going to put the poor game to shame. I don't believe or agree with the droind calling nonsense but if PS3 fanboys would think before they talk just once they would realize that 360 is not only the more powerful console but also the better value for your money minus bluray which is not needed.

we got like, what was that, 1 second of in game footage?

i really liked the way he altered between the various forms, but i think it would have been good to have it interspersed with gameplay pertaining to the form he was in (when he was the mage, it would have been cool to cut to the character in the game doing something with his spells, and when he was the evil demon, it would have been nice to show him hacking away at innocents).

it came off like a TV series or movie trailer, and was visually interesting, but it didn't really convey the message of the game in terms of gameplay, and the general audience would probably be left scratching their heads.

also, October 21st is going to be a FANTASTIC day for me, personally, as i'll be picking up Fable 2, Little Big Planet, Bioshock, Eternal Sonata, Far Cry 2, and a few days later, Fallout 3. it's painful on the wallet, but it's countless hours of gameplay fun.

Why is it a sony fanboy(only calling out desparado and rick)can talk bout graphics.If game isn't fun but looks good it's a fail but it can always work if it's the other way around.Lbp isn't eye-popping but it's fun as hell.You must also take in how massive fable II is.So before the first thing you say is graphics, Think about he gameplay first.Epic trailer though,it's a must-have.
