This remake looks incredible!

Neonridr2402d ago

agreed. The only nice thing about skipping Playstation consoles in the past is that I get to experience titles like The Last Of Us or SOTC in their definitive forms.

Looking forward to playing Shadow of the Colossus for the first time :D

TheRealHeisenberg2402d ago

I've never played this myself but only ever heard great things about this game. It looks freaking great. My only small gripe with this trailer is the lack of action contained within it. Maybe 30 seconds less of riding the horse in exchange for some combat.

Genuine-User2402d ago

Have you not played SOTC? Man, you’re in for a treat!

Neonridr2402d ago (Edited 2402d ago )

@Genuine - nope.. will be my first time. I had the same well wishes for TLOU as well. The PS4 was my first Sony console.

better late than never I guess :P

andrewsquall2401d ago

Lets not get ahead of ourselves and see how it turns out. Imagine they ruined the controls of the greatest horse in videogame history by taking away her, butter smooth and amazing in combat, tank controls.
You just point her where you want her to run and then use the lock on enemy camera to keep your eye of the colossus.

WelkinCole2401d ago

@TheRealHeisenberg. It is not your typical game where you get to kill hundreds of enemies. There almost zero dialog as well. However its a game that made me feel like I am in a fantasy land/moves like the never ending story.

At its core though its a puzzle game with the best level designs I have come across in any game. Just going to warn you on this.

Despite all of this its also a game that made me feel emotions on the same level as MGS3 and FF7 which is pretty amazing considering it does not have much dialog or cutscenes like the other two games mentioned.

The story of a boy name Wander, his girl Mono and his horse Argo and the beast that roam the lands is the most best told story not told though dialog or cutscene even in gaming history

I did not expect it to release so soon. Sony surely wants to empty my wallet early next year. Worth it!

Genuine-User2402d ago

Yeah, next years look like another packed year for Sony. So many great games to look forward to next year!

fenome2402d ago

This looks clean AF! Day one no question!

Xenophon_York2402d ago

Didn't realize this remaster was actually going to be a remake done masterfully! Kind of glad I didn't play the original. Awesomeness.

fenome2402d ago

This looks so good! I wouldn't be surprised if Bluepoint announced their own IP after this, they've been knocking it out of the park with remakes and remasters. It seems like it's their time to shine right now. Props to them.

ApocalypseShadow2402d ago (Edited 2402d ago )

Played the original, skipped the remasters and will be getting this remake/remaster. Looks awesome!

Now Sony, can I get an ICO remake/remaster as well please?

BlackTar1872402d ago

jocomat92402d ago

5 Games To Play While Waiting For Dragon's Dogma II

Daman Shelley from NoobFeed writes - Dragon's Dogma is truly a one-of-a-kind game, and there really is no other game like it, but there are a few that come close. every gamer should play this game

gold_drake134d ago

cant wait for it, feb and march are busy busy months ha.

SovereignSnaKe134d ago

I can still hear the title screen music in my head after nearly 12 years. Loved every minute of it.

MrNinosan133d ago

I have no issues filling my time til DD2.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Infinite Wealth and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will probably me more than enough.
More terrified I won't be done in time.

DivineHand125133d ago

Try not to burn yourself out before the game releases. This is going to be a long and immersive RPG like the first one.

The games in this article are all great and I believe the people who are excited for Dragons Dogma 2 probably already played most of those games.

For now, I recommend you prepare yourself for long play sessions if you will be picking up Dragons Dogma at launch.

Do they explain in the video why there are two numbers 3? Starfield and Tears of the Kingdom?
