Xbox BC runs pretty flawlessly, was playing Black last night, never played it since it launched after the 360, and got it for $3.99 yesterday.

that's the thing, I hope that MS focuses on titles that weren't released on PC.

There's always been a lack of interest to develop an emulator for it, since a lot considers the platform has not having enough exclusives to consider coding for it, so this is a totally new thing when compared to the PS2/Wii that I can easily run at better performances on my PC.

So I installed Crimson Skies and Fuzion Frenzy yesterday and they both look and play amazing. Something then tells me to check my collection again, which I do. Why did I find a brand new Platinum Hits copy of KotOR unopened and just chilling in one of my bins!?!? I remember selling my original, but totally forgot that I rebought it years later after 360 came out and it's just been sitting in a bin for like 12 years!

Got to love unexpected surprises like that. And got to love Xbox BC. Happy gaming.

That's always a fun surprise. I found a new Sega Saturn last time I went digging through my closet. I'm looking forward to playing through some of my old favorite Xbox games and even trying some that I missed.

Sega Saturn! Still have a lot of those game too as well as Sega CD. I was a bit of a collector at one point. Then once I had a kid it kind of went away haha. Stop being able to keep up with it. But im hoping Microsoft can bring even more on the next batch of OG games. Shenmue 2, JSRF, Panzer Dragoon, PGR2...too many to list.

Could just pick it up on PC. It'll run on integrated laptop graphics these days. Rafts of mods available, including HD widescreen resolutions and also get controller support if you absolutely must (it's better with keyboard and mouse anyway!)

You'll get it on console and in 2 years when you change to another it won't work again. I kept this game for over a decade and played it several times on the same machine.

Currently works in 4K I played KOTOR 2 in 4K lol. PC backwards compatibility FTW

Funny hearing people say Microsoft is ruining gaming. For $100 extra you get BC with improved graphics and frame rate without a monthly fee. I remember when PSN was free the cost of Live was always added to the cost of a 360. Does that mean improved BC on Xbox One mean Xbox owners now get to subtract the cost of PSNow from their purchase? What is the rate for the improvements?

People ignored the PS1/PS2 BC, Blu ray drive when it was PS3 VS Xbox 360, they claimed they bought a new console to play new games not old games.

Now the roles are reversed and the people on each side are saying the same thing.

I call BS on that statement. I still have my 60 gig to play my old PlayStation games. Sony is the one that said no one wanted it so they could rip the feature out to reduce the price.

You will find plenty of Xbox 360 owners who downplayed the Ps3's BC and Blu Ray player.
