GameSpy writes: "Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure is one of the most promising and original Nintendo DS games we've played this year. The titular character is a sword-swinging, monocle-wearing gentleman in his twilight years, equally at home sipping tea with the Queen of England as he is navigating the farthest unexplored reaches of the world. In this light-hearted adventure, the player dons Henry's bowler hat and cane, taking the old bloke through a genre-bending series of quests in which puzzle-based gameplay and action-adventure come together, resulting in something greater than the sum of its parts.
As far as videogame characters go Henry is a well-rounded hero with plenty of style, as well as a formidable repertoire of skills. You'll start Henry's tale swinging a walking stick and showing the creatures that inhabit the diverse fantasy worlds that there's still plenty of fight left in him. Henry can briefly grab onto walls to boost himself up, has decent leaping ability, and can shoot targets at a distance with his blunderbuss. All the side-scrolling, jumping and whacking action takes place on the top screen."
