Golf Story Is A Nintendo Switch RPG You Should Play

I have truly never seen the appeal of golf, but Golf Story, a new Nintendo Switch exclusive, is so charming that I can’t stop playing it.

Well, I dunno then. I mean its golf focused but not like a simulation. It feels like if Animal Crossing and Pokemon gave Gameboy Advance Mario Golf their coolest features. I mean you hit balls with clubs, but you can do much more. It's an oldschool RPG at its core. The golf mechanics are simple but all the extras make it amazing. I don't like Tiger Woods games but I loved Hot Shots. I don't want to spoil the game, but there is much more than golf here. I unlocked the 3rd location of at least 8 places. Each one consists of different areas and they have lots to do. I'm not 6 hours in and I have tons to do. I'm at level 16 and haven't even unlocked many clubs. I like it. If say YouTube it to see of it appeals to you. For me it's a 9/10 game.

I have a Switch coming in the mail Monday, and the first thing I’m doing after setting it up is buying and downloading this game.

It is so much fun. One of my favorite games this year easily. It's easy to pick up and super addicting. Makes me wish the Switch had trophies. :/

I would say yes, considering it's self published. And even when it's published by one of the Big 3, some games still manage to escape that exclusivity and come out for other platforms eventually.
