expect ff13 360 for japan.

square betrayed us.

and some actual gameplay of ffv13. which still be ps3 exclusive

ace2355688d ago

Anyone think Last Remnant will get a PS3 relaese date and Star ocean will go multiplatform

socomnick5688d ago

"square betrayed us." -- ok how exactly did they betray you ?

They are only doing the gaming community a favor, they are letting more people experience their great game. Whats wrong with that ?

ultimate9205688d ago

It hurt that it went multi-platform, but it's better than it being exclusive to the Xbox.

nieto25688d ago (Edited 5688d ago )

well it's not like SE canceled the game for the PS3 like they did back in the day to nintendo because we're going to get FFXIII too.

now it's all up to Sony to keep bringing the good games because at the end that's what counts. and they seem like they are going to do good in TGS with the 11 exclusive games that they are going to present. ;-D

rosebowl235688d ago

What to expect: Lame generic RPGs with gameplay that hasn't changed since the PS1 era with gay emo characters that have weird belts and zippers and asymmetrical sleeves.

Homicide5688d ago

Now you know how the Nintendo fans felt back in 1997.

kewlkat0075688d ago (Edited 5688d ago )

Wake up and smell the coffee...some are still in la-la sony only land..

Hey I chased FF from Nintendo to PS and now SQ-E is giving love to all the consoles.

Quite frankly buy all the consoles if it's really about the games.

I would like to see FF13, actually gameplay I'm past the Fluff screens/videos.

SL1M DADDY5688d ago

I expect nothing from them. They have underwhelmed me for the past several years and sorry to say this, I feel they have lost their edge. Since the Enix merger, they have underwhelmed me at just about every corner. I look forward to FFXIII but to be honest, anything else from them has not even found my radar.

Sadly I Expect, Closed Mega Theater. Written teases of something someone else saw.

tehReaper5688d ago

The next Chrono Cross/Trigger would be amazing.

Why does everyone want a FF7 remake? Make it a FF7 SEQUEL.

*Microsoft has paid Square Enix 1 billion dollars for an XBOX 360 exclusive remake of Final Fantasy 7.

*Final Fantasy XIII is now being developed simultaneously to release in 2009 for both XBOX 360 and PS3 in Japan.

*Final Fantasy Versus XIII is now coming to both XBOX 360 and PS3.

Sony just standing there looking confused with nothing but their d*cks in their hands and their $400 machine.

SONY- "I wonder why XBOX 360 is getting so much momentum" Yeah... ever since they cut the price so much lower than us, started paying 3rd party developers for exclusives, and made sure we had no big 3rd party exclusives of our own. Yeah, I wonder what's going on. This is so confusing... Oh well, we can't worry about them, we have to stay focused on doing the best with what we got.

360 man5688d ago

lightningf does kinda have a point

it wont hurt if sony was a bit more competative

Sevir045688d ago

MS's pockets are just as big as Sony's the thing is here that MS will Pay out there ass with and continue to gain negative deficits to gain PS3 games, while Sony will use what money they have to broaden there first and second party developer studios and help publish third party games that they see fit worthy of an exclusive... Quantic dreams, konami and Irem, and From Software says hello..

^^ Anywho back on topic. i expect dozens of DS and PSP love from square and trailers for all the next gen FF products in development, playable version of the for the Last remnant and SO:Last Hope. and maybe 1 or 2 surprise game announcements.

One Touch spirit for PS3 and another final fantasy product announced as Multiplatform for PS3 and 360..

Peter Griffin5688d ago (Edited 5688d ago )

the problem other then the obvious someone giving a billion dollars for anything, is that if that were to happen MS wouldnt profit off of it. No game, system etc can generate a billion dollars worth of sales to compensate or profit from that kinda of offer. At least not in the given time MS is hoping to profit it from anyway. If they wanna wait 20 yrs to profit from a billion dollar offer than go head by any means

i dont even think the Nintendo Entertainment System to this day has sold that much copies of systems to this day

ultimate9205688d ago

They are struggling with these exclusives and if it keeps on going, yeah Sony can kiss their ass goodbye to MS.

Isaac5688d ago

I would believe FF Versus on 360, and I would believe that Microsoft would pay to release FFXIII at the same time with the PS3 version. But you must have been spoonfed acid (or Bill Gates' cum for that matter) when you were really young (probably yesterday) if you really believe that Microsoft would pay a billion dollars just for the development of a single game even though no game has ever made back that kind of money in terms of profit, the best selling FF has sold about 10 million units (many of them at budget price) and that isn't even pure profit, not to mention Xbox 360 is the last console where it would make the money back. Your ignorance is also too damned blatant in that you don't even know that Sony owns the publishing rights for FF7 in America, so FF7 could never come out in America (Xbox's only territory) unless it had Sony's name on it.

Silogon/Gamesblow/"light ningPS3", you should grow a brain.

bunbun7775688d ago

Sony will have apx 25 exclusive games for the PS3. How many will 360 have between now and 2010? Have they announced any besides A. Wake?

smurfie45688d ago

Your constant ranting about price cuts has gone past annoying. I hope that Versus be there with gameplay footage.

Raoh5688d ago (Edited 5688d ago )

i expect ffxiii for 360 in japan

then next year i expect an announcement that its to come out on 360 first as a timed exclusive..

i can dismiss square if sony can get some other developers to deliver some good rpgs as well outside of the square umbrella..

white knight story, demon souls and valkyria chronicles is a start more would be great..

i've pretty much accepted that square is ready to move on after i read that they have a portion of their tgs show showcasing 360 projects but nothing mentioned about the ps3..

oh well, time to move i guess

gano5688d ago

Yeah. Nippon ichi, and atlus. If se screws over ps fans in more
bs then you are right, it'll be time to move on.

Glad that I absolutely can't stand subscription services.

Petebloodyonion16d ago (Edited 16d ago )

I don't recall Sony forcing you to subscribe like nobody forced you to go to Blockbuster to rent games instead of buying them.

SonyStyled16d ago

Pay-per-view was almost cheaper than the cost of gas and rental fee from Blockbuster. Blockbuster doesn’t exist today. Are you being sarcastic?

Final Fantasy XV Review – A Royal Road Trip

Gary Green said: With my fondness for (most) Final Fantasy games and my side goal of finishing off games in my collection with loose ends, a return to Final Fantasy XV seemed inevitable. It also serves as my third Final Fantasy platinum trophy after VII and VIII, a reasonable substitute since Final Fantasy IX is nigh on impossible to master.
