SEGA announces Sonic Forces release date, pre-order bonuses, and price.
The divide between both iterations of Sonic is now reaching spin-off territory, and the way Sega is handling it is both a blessing and a curse.
Game Rant Writes "Sonic Forces is now five years old, and while it has plenty of flaws, there are things the 2017 release handles well enough to affect future games."
Sega aims to release 2D Sonic games alongside the 3D ones each year, but it's questionable how the company plans to continue this trend.
I wonder if I'm going to see "Sonic Forces vs Xbox 1X" articles like I did with Horizons DLC...
$40 in the US too. I was thinking about waiting and picking this up, but if it gets good reviews I make pick it up after launch with GCU.
I'm all in especially for $40. This is a controversial opinion but I prefer Sonic in 3D because you feel more engaged and well I started Sonic that way...
I'm liking Sega doing bargain bin pricing. They did the same thing with their lastest Valkeyria game as well which is less than $20 on Amazon for the base game right now. Even the DLC and avatars for that game is free on PSN. Of course now the problem is I feel like if I wait a couple of months Forces might drop like that too so I might end up waiting over getting it day one.
Price is extremely tempting. I am a sucker for launch editions also. May have to add this to my Switch library.
