this game shows how game developers for the wii are very lazy. as far as game play goes, i like what i see.

I don't think it got to do with " lazy"
They still need to work fully ya know.
I think they just keep their budgets extremely low...and the lack of good programmers/designers.

HVS is know for their pathetic portfolio, but it also shows that when you do things on your own( with out a publisher breating in your neck, their pathetic portfolio is caused by publishers who have their own say on projects) you can achieve much more...
Problem is rather that you need money.

HVS did an awesome job with this game, although i don't care much for the visuals( they are a nice plus though) im hoping their gameplay is well done.

Looks pretty good for the Wii. I will at least try this game out when it ships.

It was a combination of lazy and opportunistic developers, because they're still getting paid for half asses shovelware which gets published by the big dogs like EA; and casual gamers bought in masses...

It's a shame, but finally things are changing for the better.

If I owned a Wii, this is a game that I would buy first day.

Thanks again High voltage for taking the time to see what the wii can really do. This game will be great and you can count on me buying it. My poor wii has been sitting dorment in its shell while my ps3 has been getting used. I can't wait for this game and others to come to the wii. Because I really enjoy playing the wii, but they need more games like this so I can play it. I like what I see, it's great high voltage.

Splatoon 2 Shows Off What Wii Shooters Should Have Been

There’s a consensus about Splatoon 1 that cannot be disputed: motion controls are the way to play. The Wii U Gamepad had its many problems on the system as a whole, but along with the way in which the touch screen was implemented in the first game like I mentioned in my last piece, using the Gamepad’s gyroscope was deemed a superior way to play compared to traditional joystick control.
