Falcom Asks if You Want Trails of Cold Steel I and II PS4 Remasters

Falcom recently released The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel for PC on Steam, but fans have been clamoring for a PS4 remaster of the first two games of the series for quite a while.

I already have them on PS3, but it would be great for PS4 owners and more people will be able to experience these amazing games.

Same here.....Except I would buy the remaster and play them both more (I already played both through at LEAST 3 times from the start). And several times from the last 10 hours to the end. YES PLEASE! I cant imagine those games with good running animations to go with the awesome music. WOW!

I would finally be able to trade in that PS3 (really replaying these two games are the reason I have it taking up a spot).

As far as I am concerned a digital only release is better than nothing, and I love buying physical copies of JRPGs.

What would they gain my making less money and releasing on Steam and not PS4? Also who is to say this is even a either or? For all you know a Steam version can happen right after a PS4 remaster.

Steam version for Cold Steel is already out. The second one will follow after.

If it is like the Evolution remakes with more side-quests, artwork fixes, full voice work etc then yes.

YES, I DO! I have both on PSvita but my copy of II still in the plastic, only because I have just not gotten around to playing it yet. I love me some more Falcom.

I didnt think it was possible two would be as good as ONE.....BOY was I WRONG! Two is much better. Especially the music and story. Even the S-crafts

Yeah I think people should play 1 and 2 before playing 3. If I had not played 1 before 2 I think I would have missed so much of what was going on.

I would personally stick with the ps3 versions i own, however I think since Cold Steel 3 actually looks like a game from this era perhaps its solid reviews and rep will make people want to dive into the older games and giving people access to them would be a great idea. Personally I would prefer PS4 Trails in the Sky collection, since it is only on Steam and PSP (no digital and physical is expensive) also the old school presentation is far more appealing.

I would only consider PS4 if it synced trophies saves with PS3. Also I am not trying to hate on CS, I am greatly enjoying the first however it looks and feels like a PS2 game. I will take remakes and remasters of any Falcom games on PS4.

Yes, please and/or release them on the Switch. I never got the chance to the orginals.
