I'd rather another PS1 title get a remake.

No thanks. Nothing against the game but t had it's chance. The HD version was just fine, I honestly don't know how you can do it any better. There's a lot more deserving games out on the PS1 which need remakes...my little wish list.

100% Agreed.

The concept of the game is just fine simply put in HD, remake?

Remake what? lol

Its a classic yes, but its concept doesn't really do much fully remade.

I'd say other games need the remake more based on needing to be updated to fit what gaming is today ie Syphon Filter.

PaRappa The Rapper is a concept that makes sense with simply a HD remaster. That game is a solid game, that almost gets nothing added to it really by fully being remade. You can play that game no different then you did on PS1, on PS4 remastered.

Can't say the same thing about Syphon Filter, that game would feel like UTTER CRAP with JUST a simple HD remaster with nothing changed about the feel, features etc.

Do you understand the concept of remake? I tried the demo of the remastered version of PaRappa and it's literally the same game from 20 years ago.

I like to think there are some creative people who can up with ideas to remake PaRappa. Rather it turns out good or not is a different story.

@Nev- "I tried the demo of the remastered version of PaRappa and it's literally the same game from 20 years ago"

Your point?

Were you able to play it or nah? lol

What are you really even asking to be remade in terms of gameplay? Its a very straightforward rhythm game.

I see no reason to actually remake anything other then some visual touch ups.

Gamers want to play it based on its feel of being a rhythm game. The static concept of that game doesn't really need changing or to be "remade".

People want it based on what they remembered in terms of gameplay, I see no reason to mess with that concept.

This isn't a progressive action game where much has evolved and the game must change to fit how games are played today ie Syphon Filter.

I would also include Super Metroid and the original Shin Megami Tensei on the SNES. Both had superb soundtracks!

Vigilante 8 and Vigilante 8 2nd Offense had awesome original soundtracks.
