Slashgamer has screenshots for Punch-Out for the Wii, and boy does it look pretty

With E3 2018 on the horizon, many are expecting a lot of surprise announcements. This includes progression on currently announced titles and new reveals. Nintendo has some of the biggest franchises in gaming but some have been put on hiatus. Here are 5 franchises Nintendo should revive.
Kid Icarus on the 3ds needs to be remade in HD, that game was really fun, the controls were a tad awkward and I'd cramp up. It'd benefit from a more comfortable controller. I really enjoyed my time w it. Advance Wars is a no brainer, come on Intelligent systems!
Kid Icarus has the potential to be another Zelda. The very first game came out at the same time Metroid did and had many of the same gameplay elements. I'm sure it could be updated into a Zelda open world format.
I'll be getting that when its out.
they should have released this in wii sports.
The look and feel of the original suits the wii.

the only thing that doesn't make sense is why they didn't do it sooner.
no new ips from nintendo. same ole same ole. i guarantee the nintendo version will still be more fun. watch and see. i still love the nintendo one. classic

im actually glad they didnt release it sooner...you ever played wii boxing?not really good int he control department they are prolly waiting for motion plus so it ill be 1:1.
If they had released it sooner i think it would be a flop due to the controls.
Call me crazy but looking at the scans it looks like the snes version of punchout. I am not impressed.
