IGN first got a look at dtp Entertainment's Divinity 2: Ego Draconis over in Germany at the Leipzig Games Convention. This time, the developers made the trek across the Atlantic to pop by IGN to show them an updated version of the role-playing epic due out in the first half of 2009 on Xbox 360 and PC. Though the plans are for both console and PC versions to come out at the same time, the 360 development is lagging a bit behind that of the PC and so they once again saw the game running with a mouse and keyboard setup.
Which platform IGN saw it on turned out not to matter much. Aside from the interface, both games will be the same and the focus of this demo, the Battle Tower, doesn't fall into the interface category.

Larian Studios have over the past few weeks really been pushing Divinity out to the masses in a huge way. It all began on the tenth anniversary of the RPG series a few weeks ago now.
CalmDownTom says, "I hold in my hands the product of over 10 years of hard work. A series of games that could very easily have slipped away and gone unpublished. Lucky for me then that the folks at Larian Studios are a tenacious bunch!"
